This is the thread for all things countries
Note: I don’t really know where to put this thread, I’m putting it here because it has ‘culture’ in the title of the section, correct me if I’m wrong, thank you. 😃

When’s something gonna happen?
I think you’re gonna have to start us off here maestro.
K. Let’s have this ride.
Okay. So what’s your favorite and least favorite countries and why? (This is just a start off as Trident said, you can talk about something else anytime you want 😃)
When’s something gonna happen?
Tuvalu is pretty neat.
Favourite: Ireland — 'cause I like Irish culture and natural redhead lasses with Irish accents are sexy.
Least favourite: China — 'cause it’s simultaneously Bolshevik and capitalist, and the amount of pollution is obscene.
Favourite; Israel home of my people
Least: Austria, France, Poland and America they aided the murder of my people
What?
What?
Check the history books America prevented Jews from escaping Germany and so they died
Yeah, but the Germans aren’t at the top of your list?
They’re all bad
I’m not sure I have a least favourite country but my favourites are England, Russia, Scotland, Italy, Wales, Switzerland, Sweden, and Denmark.
England - I love English culture ranging from the arts to football, history, royalty, and it’s sense of community within the different corners.
Russia - It’s more than bad stereotypes. There’s something incredibly spiritual about it. It’s also rich in the arts, culture, royality, history, and more. I love how it’s where Andrei Tarkovsky is from. It’s also incredibly beautiful.
Scotland - Scottish people tend to be very friendly and kind. Plus look no further than the Isle of Skye for dream holiday adventures.
Italy - The history, culture, food, and sense of family. It’s a beautiful country.
Wales - It’s beautiful and filled with medieval history with all of the castles.
Switzerland - It’s very beautiful and is right out of a storybook.
Denmark - Home of Lego. Enough said.
Sweden - Very beautiful, heritage, art, and lovely people.
Honourable Mentions: Ireland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, and Kenya.
“Heroes come in all sizes, and you don’t have to be a giant hero. You can be a very small hero. It’s just as important to understand that accepting self-responsibility for the things you do, having good manners, caring about other people - these are heroic acts. Everybody has the choice of being a hero or not being a hero every day of their lives.” - George Lucas

“The children of God should not have any other country here below but the universe itself, with the totality of all the reasoning creatures it ever has contained, contains, or ever will contain. That is the native city to which we owe our love.”
— Simone Weil
The nation-state is a bad idea and nationalism utter brain rot.

Japan is a beautiful country with incredibly clean major cities, but it has a severe lack of public garbage cans, making it difficult to throw away trash when you’re out and about.
The United States is a much dirtier country, with trash strewn about the streets of major cities, yet public garbage cans are everywhere and usually easy to find when you need one.
Hmm… so I guess more garbage cans paradoxically leads to increased litter? At least, that’s my clueless, single-variable analysis of this subject that ignores all other factors.
Thought better of my response and I’ve deleted it because it was of a political nature and I don’t want the mods to get pissed at me.
I love Russia and Germany. And I swear, this has nothing to do with me being a Marxist-Leninist, I simply love the history and culture of those countries. I also love the history and culture of my own country: Italy. 2500 years of history, a rich culture, we are responsible for a lot of the things that exist in modern European and Western civilization, and great food! Besides, I live in the city where pizza was invented!
«No one is guilty of being born a slave. But the slave to whom not only aspirations for freedom are alien, but who justifies and paints his slavery in rosy colors, such a slave is a lackey and a brute who arouses a legitimate sense of indignation, disgust and repugnance.»
— Vladimir Lenin

Didn’t Tobar give their blessing to have political discussions in the Off Topic sections of the forum?
