OK now hold on a minute. First you come in here and post a crazy idea about filing a lawsuit against George Lucas because he's said contradictory things over the years about the OT. Now that in itself isn't bad. You're sort of on the mark with all the other crazy ideas that people here come up with. But you didn't stop there. You kept baiting people to get into this discussion with you. And instead of discussing the issue in a civilized manner, you go off and insult everyone who disagrees with you.
I don't know what kind of people you think we are here at OT.com, but we don't sit around all day thinking of ways kill George Lucas or steal his money, which we have so eagerly given him over the years. (I'm speaking in general here, I can't account for the occasional wacko such as yourself or random forum troll.)
So does it really come as a shock to you that people are treating you this way? You're bringing all this on yourself kid. Even if this whole thread was supposed to be a joke (which you failed miserably to convey it as), you clearly have an agenda that would say otherwise:

George Lucas, you're a fraud. Everything that made the Original Trilogy great was other people’s incentive. You're a talentless hack. You constantly contradict your pathetic excuses for why your prequels suck, changes to your gay special editions, and why you won't release the unraped originals respectively. I have more than enough evidence to sue your fat ass for everything you got and win. Why don’t you just admit you’re a selfish, greedy, coward? I’ll see you in court: Lucass.
If that is supposed to be a joke too, you're again failing miserably at conveying your humor to the rest of us. So why don't you lighten up a little and quit with the Lucas bashing. You're not making any friends among your fellow Star Wars fans.
The best post in this thread came from Obi Jeewhyen, which I think deserves another read:
First off, if you haven't already ... it's beyond time to get used to a good many Star Wars fans making the larger body of Star Wars fans look bad. With no offense meant to anyone here ... there are a whole lot who are so geeky, so socially misfitting, and so ultra nerdish that it could potentially be embarrassing to be associated with them via the fandom in common. We must all learn to let only ourselves embarrass ourselves, and not be remotely tarred by what anyone else does vis-a-vis their Star Wars mania.
Practice laughing at your fandom, other fandom more radical than your own, and your place along the spectrum. Watch the Triumph the Insult Dog bit until you can laugh at yourself and Star Wars fandom in general. It's healthy.
Secondly, speaking as a legal professional, there is no case to be had against George Lucas for contradictory commercial speech. You can't even sue for false advertising, though you certainly have a Better Business Bureau claim. I suppose if a zillion of us buy the upcoming DVDs, we can each claim damages of $40 and seek to get certified as a class action.
But don't hold your breath.
Your best rebuke against LucasFilm's bad faith business practices is to withhold your money from it from now on.
I intend to lead by example.
