Star Trek the Motion Picture end credit, i just finished the movie, lol.
Jerry Goldsmith was the best star trek film composer in my humble opinion.
Though it was nice to have a different nautical flavor with Star Trek II and James Horner.
“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.
Jerry Goldsmith is one of the best composers of all time.

I'm on a kick!

Thank you for using the real album cover, Zig, the other one (which they were forced to replace the graffiti covered bathroom wall cover with) sucks.
Psycho Killer - by Talking Heads.
God Give Me Strength - Elvis Costello.

Thanks, Red!
Wait...
Why'd you replace it with the lame one?!
But-
I give up.
That can't be, that's inside the room.

Agreed.
I've been humming music from 'The Shadow' all week long.
*sigh*
I miss sweeping orchestral catchy themes.

Nothing. I was just reacting to your post about Spongebob.
And greenie, his POTA score is up there with my top ten soundtracks of all time.
Her Majesty-The Beatles
Today's been an late period Beatles kinda day-Abbey Road/The White Album
VADER!? WHERE THE HELL IS MY MOCHA LATTE? -Palpy on a very bad day.

I think Abbey Road (their literal, actual last album) is a close contender for their best.
Oh, and way to pick a 20 second song :p
Fool on the Hill ~ The Beatles
Curl Of The Burl - by Mastodon.
I Me Mine-The Beatles.
I like the rougher, more balls out tracks on Let it Be. Sounds like they just started jamming in the studio and shook everything off. Guess I really need to listed to Naked.

I bought Naked the other day.
I like it more.
I agree, I like Naked more too, but some songs are definitely better on the original (like the title track). I think Phil Spector did a pretty amazing job with the original Let It Be, considering the studio tapes were such a huge mess when he got a hold of them. But a lot of songs (Two of Us, Across the Universe, etc.) were way better once McCartney took off the overproduction of Spector.
They were breaking up while making Let It Be, and they knew it, so afterwards they went in the studio and took the last few songs they had and put all their bullshit aside and made Abbey Road. They didn't even bother completely the partial songs they had, so they just made them all into one, big 16 minute medley, and made it the B-side to the album. What a great way to end the greatest rock band of all time.
Save a Prayer-Duran Duran
The Chauffeur
One of the great albums. Freaking perfect. (UK original that is. I hate the US dance remixes!)

Astronomica Saturnian Moon - by Nightfall.
Let it Be...Naked would be perfect if the single (George Martin-produced) versions of the title track, "Get Back" and "Don't Let Me Down" were used instead of creating new ones. They already had non-Spectorized versions of those three songs, damn it!
Also, I'd have liked to see the full version of "Dig It" on the album (though I'm not upset at the lack of "Maggie Mae").
