So I've heard.
So I've heard.
Some rap song someone on YouTube sent me. I think most rap sucks - and this song was no exception - but when a YouTuber sends me a video, I have to listen to it.
Got-dang sense of obligation!
Googling "some rap song..."
...
...
Nope, never heard it before.

Rap. It's like skat singing, only with real words, and a bit like accapella, only with music. Does that make sense?
I've heard rap, I even own a little (if Beastie Boys or Young MC counts). I've not heard "some rap song."

Whoops. I just assumed you were more of an Andrews Sisters type of guy. Less about the hippity hop.

Well, let's just say I had to Google the Andrews Sisters.
You had to Google who the Andrews Sisters were? Judging by your profile pic, you could have dated one of them.
Now I feel old.

I stopped listening to music when I was twenty. They must have come on the scene later.
Ice Cube and House Of Pain have been about the only rap acts I kept in my collection.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Sorry, guys. Had to plug my friends' band again. Especially since I shot this video, and synced the separately-recorded audio. (It's all 100% live, there's no overdubs or lip syncing going on.)
