yeah there is only 1 batman as far as i am concerned. that movie stayed in the theater for like a year after it released. because everybody kept going back and watching it multiple times. i saw it in the theater at least 3 times. i was about 10 years old at the time. how do you get from that to batman and robin? just never understood what happened to the batman franchise. granted batman begins was pretty good. but dark knight wtf? didnt realize batman had a robot voice.

Didn't he have that awful voice in Begins too?

Batman 89

It makes me sad that people have to add the "89."  I understand it, but it makes me sad.

But you dont have to.

There's only one film with that title.

The closest other movie is "Batman: The Movie" from the 60s.

batmans voice changed in the dark night only when he has the mask on. mask off he sounds normal. mask on he sounds like robobatcop. and also he had roboarms for beating up crooks. wtf. keaton didnt need any roboarms to knock somebody out. last movie seen. "still waiting" funnier now then the first 2 times i saw it. why is that? proof that mood dictates movie opinion?

I don't like it either. It just makes it clearer for most people.

Hmmm... sort of like Star Wars vs Star Wars '77 vs Star Wars (the first one) vs Star Wars (the original one) vs A New Hope vs Star Wars A New Hope, etc..

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Rewrite the Prequels!

Batman most certainly had the same growly voice in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.  It's more noticeable in The Dark Knight because Bale somehow manages to get more growly with it than in Begins, and Batman himself (not Bruce Wayne) has more dialogue in The Dark Knight, so there's more time to notice the way he speaks.

I just hope they bring it back to Batman Begins levels for the new movie, because I didn't mind it so much then.

Thank you.  I was pretty sure I had a good reason to hate that movie. ;-)

High Noon

A classic western. I liked it.

The premise reminded me of 3:10 to Yuma. Except its less exciting.

saw "suckerpunch" i have to say i was expecting so much more. in general zack snyder movies have been good and watchmen is ranked in my top 10 faves. this being his first movie he wrote i was expecting a masterpiece. and what i got was really disappointed. yes the movie looks cool. great sfx. and the lead role she is well i would drink her bathwater but the movie completely lacked "punch" and i feel like a "sucker"  bottom line mad at zack right now. he should stick to other peoples writings.

Trail of the Pink Panther for the first time in years. the first 40 or so minutes actually work somewhat as a coherent plot, but as soon as the reporter character is introduced all credibility goes out the window.

Very entertaining.

Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.

^ Agreed.  I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed that movie.  I'd watch it again.

I just finished watching Last Survivor's Smallville: Destiny fanedit.  He turned the first season of Smallville into a two-part miniseries sort of thing.  I don't know if any of you are fans, but even if you just like Superman in general, this was really awesome and impressive.  My full review is on the linked page.
