The film Interview With The Vampire: Chronicles is an excellent example of the talents of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, a must-see!
Funny that you say that, as Brad Pitt absolutely hated working on that movie.
The film Kung Fu Panda 4 is pretty good, definitely worth the watch.

Dune 2, amazing cinematography. And i’m one of those guys who hates digital.

That’s because they strike film prints from the digital footage and later scan the film footage. The print scans is what gets released and that’s why the movie looks so good.
Why not just shoot on film?
The film Lisa Frankenstien is fraught with tragedy and love, though its main point is that a child will burn a village to feel its warmth.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)
I don’t know why but this has always been my favorite Trek film and remains so.
Star Trek IV: The Final Frontier (1989)
What the hell was that?
Star Trek IV: The Undiscovered Country (1991)
A perfect send-off for the crew of the USS Enterprise.
II, IV, and VI would make a perfect trilogy if III wasn’t so important to the plot.
The original 7 films of Child’s Play are an excellent look into the mind of evil, there is humor, there is horror and most importantly the films warn against becoming too comfortable with dehumanizing others. A cult classic series if there ever was one.

American Graffiti THX laserdisc from 1996. Really crummy transfer with good audio. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just ported over a VHS because its so soft and blurry its junk.
The bootleg 35mm telecine of the 1973 version blows this official release away. Though the original DVD looks the best of all the releases, even with DNR. The worst is either Laserdisc that isn’t the Signature Collection or the 4K.
Kingdom of The Planet of The Apes is a pretty good continuation of the prequel series.

My only complaint is that the movie ends with the Mayans witnessing the arrival of the Spaniards, when in reality Mayan civilization had collapsed centuries before such arrival took place.

The Garfield Movie (2024)
Pretty funny and emotional movie overall.
Just another fan who wants to preserve the theatrical versions of the OT.
When Harry Met Sally…(1989)
I didn’t expect it to be this good. Extremely funny and clever script with a lot of heart. Superb performances from Billy Cyrstal and Meg Ryan as well.
You’ll laugh! You’ll cry! You’ll kiss three bucks goodbye!
Surprised at how great the 4k for Raiders of the Lost Ark looks is there DNR somewhere or recomposites? I didn’t notice them. It was so much better than the Blu-Ray the overly bright colors are gone, skin tones look more natural. I can’t tell if all of that grain is real or not but there is a lot of it.
The film A Bug’s Life is an underrated classic. Definitely a must see.

Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. Awful, great cast but it just never comes together. I wouldn’t recommend it.
I really wanted to love it, but it’s actually worse than the 2016 movie because it is less funny.
They totally waste the original cast, the Spengler family is the only good aspect of it.
I loved Winston suiting up and Janine being a Ghostbuster but it wasn’t enough to save this cashgrab of a film. It reeked of corporate filmmaking chasing nostalgia.
I will never say the second one is bad again after seeing this.
I feel awful for younger actors because it isn’t their fault this was a turkey, it was the fault of the director. It’s probably a serviceable script, Jason Reitman should have directed it.
The film A Bug’s Life is an underrated classic. Definitely a must see.
A Bug’s Life has the distinction of being the only classic Pixar movie I didn’t like at all.
