The Shawshank Redemption - It was beautiful. There was some nudity in it, and while that did make me really angry and offended, I was able to move past it. If I had any balls to give it, I’d give it 2 balls out of 2.

I give your post 0.42 balls out of 10.

But your ability to continually either miss or ignore the point gets all the balls.

I get your point, I just think it’s wrong and bad. Shawshank Redemption is great though.

Raiders of the Lost Ark with a live orchestra. A ton of fun, I’m glad I got to go.

I saw that advertised when I was in San Jose last year. They were calling it Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark though.

They actually got it right here. Us Arkansas hillbillies take our movie titles very seriously.

Dang, that sounds awesome. I’ve seen BTTF and Star Wars that way and it’s such a great experience.

Lucasfilm has been slapping that name on it since the last major VHS release, (and numbering it in relation to the Young Indy stuff) so don’t feel bad.

Big Eyes- A blend of cutting timeless social commentary, Sirk-style melodrama and colors, and character study biopic, Big Eyes is Tim Burton’s best film in years. Terrific performances from Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz in this almost unbelievable true story about an unlikely artist and her domineering husband who built a pop art empire. Gorgeously shot, well-acted, and written with wit and sympathy, Burton abandons his usual Gothic bag of tricks for something new and more than welcome.

30 minutes left to go in Blade Runner 2049…

…and somehow there’s been three more scenes with completely unnecessary female nudity. While I disagree with the justification provided for the initial scene, at least I understand why y’all would make it. These three, I see zero reason for them and I’d love to hear you try to justify them this time.

And with 30 minutes to go, I’ll say that unless the ending blows me a way, I’m a little underwhelmed overall. I think it’s kinda the exact same issue I had with the original. It’s a good movie, no question, but people are going ape shit over how fantastic it is and I just don’t see it. In my view the actual experience has not lived up to the hype.
