The last actual line spoken in Ep.3?

"There is always hope."

Doc
Taylor: Oh H, whatever happened to the way of the warrior??
Harold: The way of the warrior doesn't stand a chance against the way of the wife.

And Luke Skywalker, yes, the OT has accomplished more, but hey, matte lines don't sell toys, and videogames, and thats what señor Lucas wants! Money! So he can build his own Death Star and blow Earth to bits.

Actually Lucas has stated that he would like to make such version since before Attack of the Clones came out. He confirmed he has already film scenes to be added back into the trilogy. Lucasfilm hasn't confirmed it because it might slow down the sales of the current DVDs but there coming. Id bet alot of money on it. Lucas has also said "do something special with the trilogy after Episode 3." Digital bits stated that they will come. Question: Why wouldn't Lucas make these?

Jimbo what he's saying right now is that there has been no official announcement saying "we are releasing these blah blah blah on blah blah blah"

and im sure Lucas will release about 4 more versions of the movies after your so called Ultimate Edition... so theres nothing Ultimate about it...
its just repacked with more crap...

More special features I presume you mean and of course there will be a few releases, look at all the video releases of the OT alone.

exactly!
and now that we have special features on dvd... you can bet Lucas is gonna take advantage of that...
put a new documentry on a dvd and you got another set right there!

Well, I am a sheep in some repects because I might buy it IF it was a better transfer, the only reason I double dip with DVD's for the most part.

Oh of course. I hate that I will probably have to triple dip for Spider-Man, but it was a really good movie. Now if only Batman and Batman Returns got the DVD treatment they deserved...

No, but considering the LD's I own can solidly compete with the picture and audio quality of the DVD's, especially since they're stero as I recall, you get the idea.

But back to the original topic, GL could make it, "I have a bad feeling about this." I doubt it though.

that would be cool!

Batman is on DVD, but it's a bare bones copy (US$15). No Features whatsoever. One of the really early DVD releases from Warner. Dunno about Batman Returns but I'm not thinking that it is available.

Haven't purchased Batman as I'm sure Burton has something nice in the works.

Sorry to drag you back off topic, but I had to get the correct info out there.

Now I didn't mention the special features, I was talking about the audio/visual, but the statement stands. I am saying, Batman and Batman Returns are on DVD. The audio, video, and complete lack of special features suck. I then mentioned that my LD's can compete with them audio/visual, which is pathetic. But by my comparison to my LD, I thought it was understood I was talking about a DVD or why would I make the comparison with VHS? Does it look like I waste my time comparing LD to VHS, something that is obvious? Anyway, I'm not mad and I am glad there is no misunderstanding, not my intent.

I know you know that. And I wasn't talking to you, DJR. Motti asked if Batman and Batman Returns were out on DVD. And from that post on, nobody had answered him correctly. I was just letting him know that they were available, just bare bones editions.

Calm down, man.
