 Yes, you have been ripped off of laserdiscs. There were also a couple of video games that have been ripped off laserdiscs.

I'll only accept it if the Canadian Laserdisc Audio Track has a greater value than the American Laserdisc Audio Track (or would it be file?).

If Laserdiscs are the primary unit of currency, what would the smaller denominations be?

Using the British Pound as an example, I propose...

Laserdiscs = £1
D-VHS Tapes = 50p
MiniDiscs = 20p
Betamax Tapes = 10p
5¼-inch Floppy Discs = 5p
SACDs = 2p
Wax Cylinders = 1p

Well, that explains the thread title.  As for the thread itself, and why we needed it, no one can explain that.

Sounds like a case for Mulder and Scully. 

 Will not be enough to solve this mystery. We will also need the team from Fringe and maybe Columbo to help sort this one out.

Would different 'grades' of audio be worth more? Like DTS being rarer than AC3, that sort of thing?
