Fantastic

I can answer almost all questions anyone might have about the Sith from Star Wars Legends, and please do PM me for the bd25 DEED(Despecalised Editions), as I have this version, though I can’t answer technical questions about them. I just want to let my thanks be known for all your work so far on this project Dwalin! Looks fantastic, I’m really excited. Grading theatrical scenes from the Extended Bluray instead the Theatrical source, makes such an improvement in clarity, the effort is hugely appreciated!

Great to see another update. I still keep an eye on this thread each week. “Two eyes, as often as I can spare them.” I hope you can stay passionate, as I know it’s a long project and it must be very time consuming. Thanks again!

Forgive a poor noob here, but while these color-regrades sound like a great idea in principle, wouldn’t it just be easier to lower the saturation and/or yellow balance on your TV and achieve pretty much the same correction effect a lot easier?

I mean sure, a colorized black and white movie can be “fixed” by turning the saturation to zero as well but that doesn’t mean you can’t create a true grayscale version, but am I way off on this?

I mean, if you want to screw up your TV settings for everything else you watch just to make one thing look good, then sure. But there are a lot of internal consistency problems with the LOTR BRs, so even if you wanted to do that you’d have to be constantly tweaking your TV settings throughout the movies.
