ok based on the LOSTPEDIA TIMELINE…im creating a chronological order of all 6 seasons…and a seperate dvd of just the Flash Sideways Timeline…

my memory of seasons past is a little rusty but couldn't that result in not seeing certain characters for LONG stretches of time?

It sounds interesting, can you provide more details?

I guess it's fortunate for the writers that the episode where the show really jumped the shark was the finale ;)

sadly i have no dvds to work with yet......so this is just a dream...i already did season 6 & flash sideways from tv recordings..but i want crisp clear non abc logo video

i know one online was done but only up to a certain day and it still has the tv logo on the screen and looks to be recorded straight off tv with the "starring.......: listed on the screen when the video begins

I dunno how you'd get rid of the credits.  I've watched a bit of "The Lost Chronology," and liked it quite a bit, but every once in a while a scene would pop up that had "Directed by ___" or "Naveen Andrews" or another credit over top it.  Since these are also present on the DVDs, I don't know how it can be avoided without some severe cropping, or some miracle clone-stamping.

it doesnt have the directed by listed on the  retail dvds...or is that not permited on these  sites

ive learned even with dvd rips im having to crop from the bottom quite a bit to get the effect im going for...like yr watching a movie----and movie dont have credits

You mean going from a 1.78:1 aspect ratio to 2.39:1?

not so much.....still not sure the difference...just cropped it so theres no "starring matthew fox" listed over the pic....i cant figure out any other way to remove that.... any sugesstions would be greatly  apprecaited

also   cant decide if i wanna do a edit simply starting with   desmond not pushing the button which leads to plane crash and go up to the point where jack dies....then a bonus dvd of just the Flash Sideways (afterlife) timeline.....which would work more for people im guessing whos never seen it

or a edit for those true fans and begin with birth or jacob and MIB and have various flashbacks like young Daniel Faraday playing piano and so on leading up to the crash...then   continuing with my timeline i listed above until Jack dies,,,,then bonus dvd of Flash Sideways..................suggestions needed

The "Lost Chronology" project begins on the day of the crash (with Desmond not pushing the button) and ends with Jack dying.  The pre-crash flashbacks will be cut together and released later as a "Season 0," while the flash-sideways will be an epilogue miniseries/season/episode/whatever.

The "Chronologically Lost" project begins with the birth of Jacob and MIB and follows along until Jack's death.  I dunno how they're gonna be doing the flash-sideways timeline, though.

Point being, if you want you can check each of these projects out and see what feels better to you.

ive already done the Flash Sideways timeline alone as a 4 hrs 28 min

and the final season as 3  episodes- equalls 6 hrs

i just now as of 5:30am tuesday finished season 6.....and seperate dvd for the flash sideways (afterlife).............i did crop some  over the credits...thats my only  downfall so far.....would love to see yr work......theres plenty of room  in this world for multiple ideas and fanedits..............what are the "intermissions" you  speak of

not so sure bout the bonus Hurley/ Ben....the show was over i dont se adding that back in as adding any depth to the story.....also any title suggestion for this project,,,,,,,,,since the word Chronological has been used 2 times in other online projects

ok i need advice on my edit....im up to 1974- final time flash...........which puts miles, daniel and other on island till 1977.......my issues is how is daniel on island working with Dharma when daniel is born in 1977......how do i avoid that.......also Miles is born in 1977.........i want it to flow as  people being born, growing up,,,,arriving on island and so on

This is why I think you should follow it from the characters' perspective.  You show all the characters' flashbacks, then the crash up to the flashes.  Then you cut the flashes and 1970s parts in there, when the characters experienced them.

That's just my preference, though.  It's your edit.

where does Daniel as professor at oxford in 1996 fit into the timeline...before what event

should i do away with the "time flashes"  in The Little Prince it says (7th time flash occurs)....im srry to bug folks just trying to  get this all sorted and figured out
