So I started buying LEGOs again. Do any of you collect? I just got my Millennium Falcon last week. It took about 10 hours to put together. Are any of you planning on buying or buy any sets lately?

I bought a Darth Vader TIE fighter & Y-wing LEGO set back in around 1999 I think. I had it for some years, but eventually I lost Vader's lightsaber, his helmet got crushed, and in the end I took both ships apart, hoping to put them back together, but I failed and ended up with a disassembled mess. I've pretty much lost all the pieces by now.
God, I love LEGO ... I'd love to get some more sets and build me some worlds.
This thread makes me wonder why neither of you asked Ripplin for a LEGO avatar...
I once had a Lego pirate ship. It was pretty badass. I miss it. It even had a cleavage bearing wench.
I have a shitload of Star Wars lego sets, and most of the legos I accumulated as a child in my room in Tucson. I receive legos just about every year for either Christmas, my birthday, or both.
The worst part of that is, I dunno what to do with them now. They're neat and all, but you build 'em once and that's kinda it for me, these days. They just go up on my shelf and collect dust.

I got the mid-size Star Destroyer for Christmas. It's pretty awesome.

I play with Megablocks with my kids. I guess that doesn't count, does it?
Megablocks are the stupid younger brother of Legos.

I have almost every Star Wars set since 1999 (except the Technic stuff).
Aaah, I KNEW I missed a lego thread somewhere before posting one of my own like a knucklehead.
I'd try to get that post moved over here but I guess we're unmodded. -just a quick cut'n'paste instead:
I have 3 of the ultimate collector sets:

the Imperial Star Destroyer, the AT-ST, and the Millenium Falcon. I really like em all. If I found out about these earlier maybe I'd have gotten the X-Wing and Blockade Runner. I have a regular series X-Wing that suffices though. Also a regular series Y-Wing and TIE Advanced. If money wasn't tight I'd probably buy the Imperial Shuttle. Anyhow, I just saw they came out with the Super Star Destroyer in the past couple of months but I think I'd pass even if I had the spare $.

Sad to see the packaging has a fricken Clone trooper on it.

What gave you that impression?

I saw off topic is unmoderated, but I guess nothing stopping them from moving something from the memorabilia section to here. Too many brain lapses for me. At any rate I just moved it over myself and now I'll get the other one deleted.
