Yeah, don't go there. Actually, it was a scam that I and a classmate had going. Very simple yet quite effective. Attendance was taken by filling out a sheet much like a Scantron test form. You fill in the bubble next to a student's name in pencil when the student is not there. Then the teacher would put the form on a clip outside the door. Me and this guy Matt had an arrangement worked out where, if I was gone, he would ask to go to the bathroom after attendance was taken and would erase the filled-out bubble next to my name. And vice versa when he was gone.

Despite missing so much of the class, we both still aced it. It made for a fun senior year.

@ Bossk

*lol* It did the same thing back in highschool. Paper and pen RPGing is still one of my passions. *g*

I'm currently working on a home made AD&D 3rd Edition. Since I'm a huge AD&D 2nd Edition fan, I was quite displeased with what stupid Wizards of the Coast did to the system by releasing D&D 3.0 (and even worse with D&D 3.5).

BUT after getting used its basics, I must admit that the core rules of &D 3.0 aren't bad at all, it just needs some polishing up and re-adjustments to give it the quality of its predecessor, AD&D 2nd Ed.

I'll let you know when I'm done.

Paper and Pen RPGs are good times, aren't they? Haven't played one since my first year of grad school when I played some vampire game with some of my RAs. Can't remember the name. Only played a couple of times. To me it wasn't nearly as addicting as Boot Hill. But, then again, I love Old West stuff. We even dry-brushed our own figurines for the Boot Hill game. My two characters were Jesus Cristo and Pancho Vino. Jesus was a badass six gun sharpshooter. Pancho was a rifleman. Still have the figurines somewhere in my apartment.

They were good character to use in RPGs though. Their skills saved my RPG life several times.

If I may ask, since I haven't been able to do any paper and pen RPG's, could you make a few examples of how the system is used in Knights of the Old Republic.

that would take some time, the best thing would be to go to gamespot.com or similar sites and read about it.

You know what really sucks about Star Wars video games. Most of them start you off as a chump with no force powers. I'm playing the game to kick some ass with choke holds and lightning attacks. Most of the Star Wars games suck until you get either your force powers or a lightsaber. All I want is a game where I start off as a bad ass jedi with a cool lightsaber.

That or a racing game where I get to race a speederbike. Pod Racer for the 64 was cool but speederbikes are cooler.

A Speeder Bike race game would be all kinds of cool.

I just have no desire to spend money on a whole new VG system for a single game. Ticks me off.

What to know what else is on that disk, though??
The original Star Wars arcade game in all its line-art beauty.

I love that game. Still not enough, though.
