It is my current desktop. There is a whole website about clarice and hannibal featuring fanmade music videos with both of them as lovers. I didn't have time yet to download and watch them, but I always had this on my once-I-should-do-this-list.

I'll have a go at making Hannibal more pale. In the meantime the search continues for a decent Hannibal pic to use for the front cover. If anybody comes across any please post them or direct me to them. I had a good idea for the front image, but I can't make it happen as there aren't anym images I can use.

Well I've put in a 'placeholder' image on the front covera and made Hannibal more pale. I have also edited the teaser poster text so that the last word (Hannibal) is in red. Should I leave it as red or revert it back to white? Also, is Hannibal pale enough?

Still not pale enough for me and maybe the eyes are to blue. Btw. I liked it much better when the teaser poster text was up and diagonally ordered. The red Hannibal is fine with me so far.

Well I'll make him more pale, and I'll do something about the eye too. I liked the diagonal ordering of the teaser text too. Just with this new picture/layout, I've yet to find a way to make it all fit together with the diagonal text. You might see it diagonal in the next preview.

Wanted to post to let everyone know I will still be doing these covers, just haven't had the time lately.

I have been busy with family stuff and holidays and all that. In fact, I am still doing all that. So, there has been little work done on the covers. That's not to say I won't finish them, because I will. However, some of Rikter's wonderful new covers for the CBB edits have used artwork that I was going to use once I got round to those edits' covers (ie. High Tension & Matrix Dezionized). I don't know what I'll do about my covers for those edits yet as they are now very similar to Rik's. When I get some free time within the next 2 weeks I will work on them a bit. I also made a label template, so next time I post about these covers I'll show you guys what that looks like.

I did have a slight idea as to how I might proceed with some of the other covers. I even had an idea or two for High Tension & Matrix Dezionized. However, I am also looking at the CBB edits that have not yet been finished. Here is a sampling of my brainstorming for covers of future CBB edits (only ones which CBB has mentioned):

Everyone:
I don't suppose anybody would have the font: Opti Binder Style Bold? Perhaps, somebody with newsgroups access can pop into alt.binaries.fonts and request it? I would really like to have this to finish off the front of one of my upcoming CBB covers. PRETTY please?

Also, check my next post for another font I'm in search of.

boon23:
Could you please reply here with the number of chapter stops for each CBB edit?

Everybody:
Another font I'm in need of: Ironmonger. I'd prefer to have the whole family, but the regular and bold versions are the main ones I need.

If you check the first post in the thread you might work out which covers I intend to use Binder Style and Ironmonger for.

Thank you, boon23.

I only wish somebody had those 2 fonts, they'd help out a lot.

Thanks for checking anyway Rikter. I've scoured the net/torrents too to no avail. It looks like the newsgroups and possibly IRC are the last hope for them. I don't have access to the newsgroups so I hope somebody who does stumbles in here and offers to request these fonts in alt.binaries.fonts - otherwise I won't be able to get them.

Hi again. For "High Tension" I was wondering which DVD you used. I am thinking you might have used more than 1 DVD and I need to know which studio logo to use on the cover. I am also classifying it as a "thriller", I hope this is fine.

Everyone:
I would appreciate it if someone could provide the NFO & CBB's DVD cover for CBB-004. I am also in need of the very cool CBB-007 DVD cover (the bluish one). If anyone can send me these please do so. My email address is klokwerk at gmail dotcom. Thanks.

For High Tension moe we used the German DVD along with the French one for the missing scenes. But you may use LGF, since it was the American production studio instead of Alexandre Films and Europa Corp..

As for thriller... I think this is a horror movie, because thriller always sounds like investigating meanwhile horror movies focus on causing fear. But thriller will be also fine. Some consider it a drama...

Lions Gate and Horror it is then.

I came up with another slightly different idea for High Tension and will probably have 2 covers. 1 which will feature the art Rikter used, and another with different art.

However, I really need some hi-res stuff stills. I thought I could just have the Face Mask on the front, light shining on it, perhaps something behind it (like how it is presented in the film for the first time). However, the closest to hi-res for that is the cover of the UK Hannibal Lector Collection DVD Boxset. I don't suppose anybody has this set and would be willing to scan it at 1200dpi for me?
http://www.geocities.com/klokwerk17/hannibal_facemask.jpg
The only other option would be to buy a replica face mask, take some photos to use for a cover and then resell it on ebay. Though that would cost money and I know my family would be very suspicious to see such an object in my mail.

I think the High Tension covers will be finished soon (after I get back from a week or so of holiday - I leave in a couple of days). I'd like to have those fonts I mentioned previously, but no such luck with sites, IRC or torrents. Looks like I need a saviour from the newsgroups. Otherwise the covers will have to use lower-quality, less-creative versions of what I had wanted to do. In any case, I may post previews for the High Tension covers soon. We'll see.

Well, I've finished (I think so, anyway) my covers for High Tension: Minus One and WOTW:TEC.

It took a while to complete the High Tension cover because while I was working on mine Rikter finished and uploaded one that used the same artwork mine was using. So rather than have a very similar cover to his, I changed my idea. It is now based on a "Switchblade Romance" poster. Unfortunately, I got distracted whilst working on it and accidentally flattened the blood splatter layers onto the art. This means that although I would have liked to remove some of the blood on the front title and the spine, I am completely unable to.

My War of the Worlds: TEC cover uses the same art for the front as the official CBB cover, but it is a slight variation (from a lower quality source too it would seem). However, I think that there's not enough need to change it. I also used a piece of art for the back that has been used on several other customs for the retail WOTW DVD, but I feel that it works nicely (I'd say it suits the edit, but I've not yet seen it).

Previews of both of these covers can are shown below. Please comment and once I determine them to be complete I will get them hosted online somewhere (along with a revised Doomed by the Boogeyman cover).

CBB006 - High Tension: Minus One Edit (Preview #01):
Image removed due to the cover being complete. See first post in this thread for the latest covers.

CBB008 - War of the Worlds: The Extinctive Cut (Preview #01):
