Idea: 'Kill Bill - The Whole Bloody Affair'

With the recent news that Tarantino is planning on releasing this in the theaters in late '06, chances are we won’t be seeing this on dvd any time soon. I was wondering if there is a “whole bloody affair” project out there that could tide us over until we see the actual one some time next year. I believe the Japanese cuts are the ones that will make up the 2 volumes as one complete film. I don’t know if it is possible to accomplish this with only the scenes in Japanese to have the subtitles in it rather than the whole film. If there is not one out there, maybe one of the talented members here would want to take on the project.

He screened a version of the "Whole Bloody Affair" a while ago and I remember there being a number of changes to make it a better whole. The only one I can remember specifically, though, is the reveal to the audience of The Bride's baby toward the end of Vol 1 was removed for more impact at the very end of the flick.

From what I remember there's actually very little that has changed. Obviously the reveal at the end of Vol. 1 has been removed. But as I was told it's pretty much just the 2 films back to back.

Might have to just get a copy of the Japanese versions then. For the House of Blue Leaves and Sofie Fatale trunk scenes alone would be worth it.
