I don't have a dual-layer burner, and I'd love if anyone's willing to trade/PIF with me for a dual-layer version of this. Can't wait to see it!
Edit: I've recieved a number of generous offers. Thanks guys!
mcfly89 - It is indeed wonderful, and I have sent you a PM :)
Please add me to this list of people looking for this, I have a very bad copy that was supposed to be transfered from the Jap dvd, but it looks horrible. Any chance any one can start seeding this somewhere or a place that it can be d/l?
its up on RS. check linktalk for dl links
I know I'm late to the game here, but is this recut chronologically or is it just both films pushed together with deleted scenes added?
While supposedly Tarantino still intends to release a cut like this (with some new added anime scenes), I've read in a few places that it will be chronological.
That has the advantage of better mixing the action of the first film and the slower character development of the second film.
Sorry if this has been asked but I searched the thread for "chronological" and couldn't find any info.
Dr. M
it is not chronological.
Nothing about fanediting is easy.
I started to watch this tonight and found a pretty serious technical flaw that I can find no-one having mentioned in the thread.
I know there was some discussion about the troubles with upmixing stereo deleted scenes to 5.1 (btw, if you use Womble, it does that just fine automatically if you set the output to 5.1.)
Anyway, although the audio stream is 6 channels, what we are hearing is 2-channel stereo packaged in 5.1 @ 448kbps.
That means only 149kbps is actually being used, the other 299kbps is wasted on dead air. (AFAIK Dolby Digital is discreet CBR channels and doesn't share or conserve bitrate.)
That is unfortunate.

Official Whole Bloody Affair with new animated scene for O-Ren.
Dr. M
haha doc m beat me to the punch. its cool qt is finally stepping up to the fan requests. its funny that just last week after viewing part of gaijin,s edit i decided to make my own whole bloody affair. and here comes the real deal. but with one drawback only releasing in 1 theater and who knows how long until it hits dvd much less bluray. so for this reason i am going ahead with my edit. so far the 1 problem i have encountered is finding a japanese vol 1 source. however that may be solved today. i chose to use the u.s. blurays for 95% of my edit for improved video quality. only the extended scenes from the uncut dvd will be used. i have decided against using the bill fight scene. i have hardcoded the forced english subs into vol 1 and 2 pre editing. this eliminates the worry of a bad sync due to added extended scenes. no need for soft subs in this film. also the most exiting thing i have done so far is to fabricate my own title. this will be a dl dvdr. at least 3 custom menu,s will be used. i intend to have a special features menu which will include most of the features from both volumes as well as adding the full soundtracks from both films not sure how that will work yet but sounds like a cool idea. all in all i wanted to include all the extra goodys i can. already mapped out the menu backgrounds. all i am waiting for is my uncut source. here is a screenshot of my title for which i used a font called keetano kill bill. and also a screenshot from the vol 1 source after it was encoded down to 720x480 ntsc. the quality is still an improvement over dvd. by the way not tryin to steal your thunder gaijin i respect that you did what you did a long time ago. just wanted to share my efforts and thoughts.
believe in the ball and throw yourself!
Do you intend to add Pai Mai’s white lotus Massacre from Shaolin Executioner? I've seen two edits with it, and it is a much more effect scene that way. (And less boring.)
Dr. M
That sounds really exciting! Can't wait.
i recently watched the white lotus massacre scene on utube and i will admit it was pretty cool! the edition of the paimai scene is under consideration. although it kinda feels like stealing someone elses idea it does add a certain missing quality to the campfire scene. i am really undecided about that and i dont yet have a source for the scene either. time will tell on that. also here is an original thought. at the end of vol 2 bea is lying in bed with bb watching shogun assassin! i have shogun assassin....lol hmmm i wonder.
believe in the ball and throw yourself!
It may seem like stealing someone's idea, word is it is QT's idea. Supposedly the script called for those scenes to be in the movie. Can anyone back that up?
Dr. M
could anybody send me the full movie via pm? i am a little bit affraid of these Torrent Pages.
By the way, the project sounds awesome!
Link please!
Also, what’s the difference between “The Whole Bloody Affair” and “The Whole Bloody Grindhouse Affair”? On another site, the link for this version is broken, but the Grindhouse link still works

Just happened to see your comment and as a collector of QT - I thought I would try and reply.
so the difference you seek -
“The Whole Bloody Affair”
This is what I found to be the most complete combination of Kill Bill 1 and 2. This is the title QT said he would call this movie if 1 and 2 were together - Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair.
“The Whole Bloody Grindhouse Affair”
Not sure what this is…so I’ll make some assumptions…however this could be something a fan put together and named it such.
We know Grindhouse contained 2 movies - Planet Terror and Death Proof.
There was a release called Grindhouse that contained theatrical presentations of the both movies, etc.
Then there were releases that contained separate movie releases of Director’s Cuts of Planet Terror and Death Proof.
Maybe this fanedit has both of these put together to make another total Grindhouse experience.
So that’s my guess…
Would anyone have a link/torrent to this? Sounds, if you pardon the pun, bloody brilliant! Thanks
