Thanks dude!

Currently the audio hasn’t been edited at all except a couple fades. I’ll get to editing and moving the sound on its own eventually, which shouldn’t be too hard, since Vader’s mask covers his mouth! Thank God for masks!!! Makes dubbing 50 tines easier. Anyway glad you’re enjoying the progress.

Peace Out

The reconstructed scene flows pretty well. I watched it side by side with the original and noticed you flipped some of the shots seamlessly, which is pretty awesome BTW never would have noticed without comparing.

Do you have any screen shots of the blender render yet?

Kenobi… KENOBIIIIIII!!!

So unfortunately, I might have lost all my data to a PC failure. The computer fell off of a desk, was refusing to turn on (proably forever, its an old computer anyway) and I am still waiting for the shop I contacted get back to see if the data can be recovered. All I have left is the trailer and screenshots.

For the moment this Fan Edit is temporarily on hold, though I am planning to get back to it. I do want to try fan-editing some other Star Wars Content first, however…

I’m pretty bummed that it failed, but I’m hoping I can soon recover and get back to it. I was already an hour and a half into editing the film’s new VFX, and was planning on sending a whole bunch of new screen shots and clips (which are now gone) this week.

😔That sucks sorry to read this MK.
If its not a mechanical hard drive you might be ok but guessing as you said it’s and old PC it is.

I would get a cheap sata to usb adapter first to try the drive before paying out for any data retrieval.

I’m lucky not to have to pay, it’s a friend of mine who owns the shop, and when I mentioned it to him, he offered to do it for free. I’m still gonna donate just out of gratitude and support, but He’s pretty professional, so it’s nice to have him on my side helping. Thanks for the suggestions. If all else fails, I’ll just restart.
