Wow, that is quite and exhaustive catalogue of work you are planning on undertaking - I can only wish you the very best with it - and for your other project categories too.

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

Welcome to the OriginalTrilogy.com | Introduce yourself in here | Useful info within : About : Help : Site Rules : Fan Project Rules : Announcements
How do I do this?’ on the OriginalTrilogy.com; some info & answers + FAQs - includes info on how to search for projects and threads on the OT•com

A Project Index for Star Wars Preservations (Harmy’s Despecialized & 4K77/80/83 etc) : A Project Index for Star Wars Fan Edits (adywan & Hal 9000 etc)

… and take your time to look around this site before posting - to get a feel for this place. Don’t just lazily make yet another thread asking for projects.

Thanks! More likely than not, the first project I do for the GSC will be A Fistful of Dollars, followed closely by Reservoir Dogs.

I’m doing them here and only here from now on. Apparently, Fanres.com is too damn bigoted against people like me with brains so big they don’t know what to do with them, so I’ve given up on them.

Anyway, expect the first couple of them in September 2019. I won’t say much, except they’ll be loaded with special features up the wazoo, and put on BD-50 ISOs, not to mention that certain of them will have different versions on them. A Fistful of Dollars, for example, will be in PG-rated and R-rated versions, with the optional network prologue, and Reservoir Dogs will feature both the original R-rated version and an extended NC-17-rated version, plus a chronological edit.

Oh no, please don’t bring this nonsense here. Your threads were removed for good reason. 2 Years of spamming vaporware projects with nothing to show for it.

These KTP collections are so absurdly broad and ambitions but with zero details of what you plan to do or how to do it. We don’t need these here.

+1 to that.

Come September, all of you will have egg on your face! Even as we speak I am awaiting a key component of the project, the final piece of the puzzle: THE MGM LETTERBOXED LASERDISC, to help me confirm the accuracy of the THE END title as seen on the Kino Blu-ray. Then, and ONLY THEN, will I get serious. I’m done playing around. Just be grateful I will show you the progress I will eventually make, as I make it, instead of leaving you out in the cold as I should for your taking me for granted. When I finish my first projects, you’ll be sorry!

P.S. I was going to wait until I’ve made significant progress on AFOD before formally creating a thread on it, but your insistence on continuing this drama even as I try to move on from it has forced my hand. I just hope it doesn’t turn out to be a spook-induced bluff…

Hello,
I’m really excited for you to start. I’m a huge Blade Runner 2049 fan and I’m dying to own it on 4K full open matte imax. Therefore, I hope you pick blade Runner 2049 imax as your first project, and if you need a source, I heard it’s available to watch on directv pay per view. If you’re able to finish it, I would seriously consider buying it.
Thanks!

Unfortunately, that ship has already sailed (A Fistful of Dollars will be my first project, that’s already been settled), but if there’s a downloadable version of that source, I’d like to know via PM. Also, like any other respectable user, noob or veteran, I do not sell my projects. It is just unethical.

Author
Time

do you make extended versions or what is your goal?

Author
Time

Definitive in what way exactly? I’m not quite sure what your goal is with the titles you’ve listed, as most of them have solid BR releases.

I suspect this guy just likes making lists. My wife is the same.

Fans destroy George.

You’ll find out how definitive they are as I gradually start work on them. The current active project, for example, is a definitive edition for the Anglosphere, heavily based on an old video print from the ‘80s in terms of coloration (said ‘80s print appears to be the closest the film got to the intended colors on video).

To learn more about what you refer to, I visited Fanres and had a look at the threads.

Wow… 😄

My reaction at reading through those threads

“Logic is the battlefield of adulthood.”

Good grief, that doesn’t look like it’s going to go away any time soon… (defiantly checks the color of AFOD restoration against '80s Fox video print and notices the initial color check is nearly three-quarters finished)
