I must say, that's DAMN slick. Kudos.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

Boy are those good! Very classy.

I might actually use those for my "theatrical edition" saga; all the films in widescreen and exactly in their theatrical versions.

Great job! You know, we ought to have a place on this site specifically for posting links to cover art.

“Back when we made Star Wars, we just couldn’t make Palpatine as evil as we intended. Now, thanks to the miracles of technology, it is finally possible. Finally, I’ve created the movies that I originally imagined.” -George Lucas on the 2007 Extra Extra Special HD-DVD Edition

I like it.

My only complaint - there's three extra films in your collection.

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

Let me make a suggestion: Jay, could you rename this thread to something like "The coverart thread" So we can post and review various creations?

Vrey good job fusionaddict, well done!

I have made some copying and pasting myself, to create a set of 3 disc labels for the TR47 DVDs.
See if you like them.
And now, for your feature presentation:
The Classic Re-re-re-release of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back.
In this version the word "WOOKIE" has been changed to "HAIR CHALLENGED ANIMAL" and the entire cast has been digitally replaced by Ewoks.

BUMP

Is there any way to download these covers? The link in the original post does not work.
Though I completely support any and all changes George Lucas makes, I feel that it is important to have the films on DVD in their original condition. They are the films that defined filmmaking as we know it.

I know I’m ridiculously late to this post, and if anyone out there is still listening, does anyone have these that I could download or copy? The links don’t work now, and probably haven’t for a decade!

Hope these are the ones you are after…

(someone with the talents of fusionaddict may well have designed more dvd covers - though I seem to remember this was the set that was quite popular at the time - still very classy 12 years on too 😃)
