Finally this long lost John Wayne movie is finally coming out to DVD and is finally being aired the weekend on AMC. Does anyone have any details on why this movie was lost for so long? I tried to search for info on the net but didn't get too much detail. Does anyone have any info?

I've never heard of the movie let alone stuff that happened to it.

I'm not suprised you've never heard of it. It's John Wayne movie that has been unseen for decades. It is the mother of the air disaster genre. For some reason, there was a legal battle going on with this movie and also the original print was damaged in a flood. It is finally comming to DVD in August. I was just curious if anyone had any detailed info on exactly what happened with this movie.
