So will you remove the balcony scene altogether or morph the hood to hide all of Palpatine's face?

If you mean the scene where the Sidious hologram is on that "spider-walker" thing talking to the Viceroy about the upcoming battle and he says "Wipe them out", I've removed that scene from the film.

I meant the "At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi, at last we will have our revenge" scene, I'm now assuming that will be gone as will the Dooku/Sidious scene in "Twilight".

Oh, I see - no, I'm keeping that scene in, but I'm removing Sidious's face and pitching his voice to be lower.
The Dooku/Sidious scene from Twilight of the Republic, however, has been removed.

sorry about that forgot here is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wvZKz4PsW8
Star Wars: Attack of the Federation (formerly known as Episode 1: The Phantom Menace) has been 100% completed and I'm rendering the mpv and ac3 files for the DVD9 version right now. :)
sweet can't wait to see it
The DVD version of SW: Attack of the Federation is complete, I'm back working on the last two Prequel films.
This is a test edit for EP3, where Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Palpatine are captured by the rayshields, but I've removed R2-D2 from the scene. I was really bothered by how Lucas treated R2-D2 as a "clown" in the movie's beginning, as well as the overusage of R2's "scream" sound effect (also that stupid "Eh-Oh!"... god damn it, Lucas, you made R2-D2 sound like a damn Teletubbie...):
Ehm when will you release the DVD version of "Attack of the Federation"??
Wow, I love the work done on fixing Sidious' face. I was always irritated by the fact that you knew who he was going to be even before we got to the third film. It was such a drag. I would be way interested in seeing your edit of the Phantom Menace. Post a link or something when you can.
A re-edit of the "Mace VS Palpatine" sequence in EP3, as well as the following scenes where Anakin betrays the Jedi and chooses the Dark Side (which he's already decided on when he returns to Palpatine's office):
Master Qui-Gon: By the end of the month, hopefully (need to send the DVD to another person to upload it online).
Looking forward to this.
Me too, I really liked what you did there in that new clip, great job.
The person your searching for simply does not exist
Little update on the "Anakin Chooses the Dark Side" sequence that I showed - I've removed Sidious's "Unlimited Power!" line from the scene, so now it's just him yelling out as he fries Mace with lightning.
Also for the scene where Anakin is attacking the Separatists on Mustafar, I removed the shot of him looking back into the camera with "Sith eye" (a scene that always bothered me in the original RotS).
"Fuck you. All the star wars movies were excellent. none of them sucked. Also, revenge of the sith is the best."

Visually, it's kinda cool, but what bothered me about it was the context - so Anakin has Sith-eyes when he's murdering aliens and droids, but not when he attempts to kill his wife and best friend/mentor???
Finished rending the mpv and ac3 files for The Black Knight Rises, so I'm burning a test DVD of the edit to watch later tonight. :)
I will probably be making a "Faneditor Scene Commentary" video for both EP2 and EP3 discussing the changes that I've made to those two film (since I've done several changes/edits to those two films that are somewhat different from other Prequel edits, such as Dooku still being a Jedi and removing the Yoda/Sidious duel).
Watched the edit tonight on my hdtv and surround system and for the most part I think it turned out pretty great, but there are a few things that need to be tweaked:
- a few scene transitions need to be changed
- I'm back on the fence about cutting the "Palpatine's Office" deleted scene which I had reinstated previously: it has a few interesting ideas to it (Padme's growing distrust of Palpatine, Palpatine sewing seeds of doubt in Anakin over Padme, etc.), but I feel like the scene is too much of a "slow-spot" that the film doesn't need at that point. Also, I don't know how effective the "Anakin grows suspicious of Padme" subplot is at that point of the story - he should only become suspicious/jealous/accusing at the climax where he's fully turned to the Dark Side.
(perhaps in an earlier draft of the script/film that subplot would've had more of a depth and impact to the story, but it's not present in the footage of the "official Lucas" cut of the film: another indication to me that RotS was rewritten and re-edited during production of the film)
There is still a lot of unused and deleted material that as yet has never seen the light of day.
I think the scene is a good one it could be trimmed a bit but Padme needs more screen time in ROTS she is far too passive a character in the theatrical cut and it is difficult to feel the tragedy of her death when she is such an absent presence.

After some scene rearranging, I might be able to keep that scene after all - I placed the "Padme in Palpatine's Office" scene just after Obi-Wan starts chasing Grevious and drops his lightsaber. I also moved the "Anakin confronts Palpatine" scene to just after Obi-Wan defeats Grevious, which is then followed by Anakin going straight to Mace to tell him about Palpatine being a Sith lord (so he's not waiting around forever before he talks to Mace about the Sith threat).
Odd, for some reason, it posted twice...
