Neither. Timothy Dalton is the best!

Is damn right......if Timothy had accepted to play Bond after Connery and Lazenby,we wouldn't have been subjected to Moore boring, while Connery was good Dalton's 007 was pissed when his friends were killed,as for RM he was more interested in shaging every chick he could.

HOLY SHIT!!
could it be that there are more Dalton fans in the world!!
i knew it!

Timothy Dalton is by far the best bond...
his one liners were always so wonderfully executed, he was an everyday man kinda bond, he had the Bond look to a T!!!
even for how dated his movies are i would still say they are the best bond movies to date....
Roger Moore wasnt bad but i only cared for A View to a Kill.. Chistopher Walken stole the show in that movie..

I loved the Dalton flicks, too. He got the shaft. And I have not been a fan of any of the Brosnan Bond films either. Not that I have anything against Brosnan, I just think the writing has gone to hell.

License to Kill was a great flick.

I'm sorry Bossk but License To Kill was worst Bond movie ever. Dalton is the 2nd worse bond. The worst is Lazenby. The Best Bond movie is clearly bar none, the classic Goldfinger. Sean Conery is the best bond. And Moore is 2nd and Peirce is 3rd. Was it realy nessasary to cut off Felix Leiter's legs? To me License To Kill was just too dark.

Edit: Is that better Montcalm?

I'm not saying it was the best flick, Warbler. Just a great flick overall that was overlooked by fans and critics. Brosnan is the worst in my mind, but by no fault of his own. Haven't seen the Lazenby episode. I love Moore. He's just arrogant enough to be a great Bond. And I love Connery. I grew up on the Moore flicks and saw all them before I ever saw Connery so I give a slight edge to Moore. Much like my opinion of Van Halen, I grew up with Van Hagar so I like them better than Van Roth. Just my two Lincolns.

License to Kill was too dark. The Bond movies in my mind were alway light and fun not too serious. And in License Bond does not act like Bond. He makes too many mistakes.

That may be your opinion, but I think Licence To Kill ranks up there as one of the best Bond flicks. And I think Dalton was the best Bond. Dalton had the cold edge that the literary James Bond had. That was the way Bond was supposed to be. Sean Connery only mildly pulled it off. Connery had the edge but his movies were too borderline-corny. Dalton's movies hit the mark right on the nose. Even though he only did 2 movies in the franchise, they are still 2 of the most darkest of the series. I used to enjoy the corny bond flicks with the super villains trying to take over the world with an army of uniformed henchmen and a plot too farfetched to be real, but I'm tired of corny and would rather see more dark Bond. Roger Moore was too comical, but he had the charm. And I like watching a Moore movie when I get tired of edge. His movies give me a good laugh, and they also had the best gadgets and super villains. Lazenby certainly wasn't the worst Bond but he wasn't cut out that much either. His one installment in the series tends to be one of the best among fans. Pierce Brosnan suffers mostly because of the ridiculus movies he's in. Now that the producers have run out of Fleming material they cant figure out how to make a good Bond movie.

My favorite Bond movies are 1. The Man With the Golden Gun (because of Christopher Lee, the plot, and because it was the first Bond movie I saw. 2. Goldfinger (for obvious reasons). 3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (for its uniqueness), and 4. Licence To Kill (for its edge)

aka Atack of The Clones. Basically the same movie.

I think he likes it for the anti-gravity sex scene...

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

please, you can see that Moonraker is made in the post-Star Wars hype, just like there are movies that are made in the post-Matrix hype... some bad and some good.

Believe me when I say it sucks doggy dick!

One of the corniest installments of the series, and the movie is irritatingly overwhelmed by too many nods to the rest of the movies, including the plot which is just a remake of Diamonds are Forever. And if you thought the other movies were farfetched, well this one features gene therapy,an electric suit, and disappearing cars!

Die Another Day is not a great bond film, let a alone a great film.

Die another day is certainly not the best Bond movie ever. But its not the worst either. Moonraker is pretty good. I know its not too real, but the Bond movies don't have to be. Moonraker is fun, funny and simple entertainment and like all Bond movies should not be taken too seriously. If you ask me the Best Bond movie of the Peirce era was Tomorrow Never Dies. It follows the Bond format closer than the others of his era. SES, we will just have to agree to disagree on what makes a good bond movie.
