I highly suspect a Boba movie would do the same thing with the prequels, and the “Clone-Boba” backstory that comes with them, that TFA did: ignore it entirely.

The prequel backstory doesn’t mean he doesn’t do cool stuff between the trilogies. (I’ve only seen a bit of the Clone Wars episodes featuring Boba.) The only thing that needs fixing is the voice, and as I said, one little scene can fix that.
