I am cheering for my Illinois Fighting Illini...
...in the NIT.
*sigh*
I'm not much of one to fill out brackets, but this year is a good year in basketball. Underdogs are beating giants. Who will fall, who will be victorious?
Who you rooting for, and who is making it to the elite eight?
I am cheering for my Kentucky Wildcats.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Syracuse just blew my bracket all to hell.
Boy, Cornell had some refs in their pocket.
Jeff Foote of Cornell, was allowed to make an uncalled flagrant foul. I am just glad UK knocked their asses down, and kept a 10 point lead. I am a little worried about what West Virginia will bring to the table.

Hope you guys stuck with the K-State/Xavier game. What a great game. The only shame was it didn't end on a last second shot.
My bracket was shot by both Kansas and Syracuse. I've still got West Virginia (sorry ESF) and Baylor in my final 4, but I've been taking hits all over the place otherwise.

Oh, I got to see several parts of the Kansas St/Xavier game, they kept cutting from the Kentucky game to show progress.

That annoyed me about the coverage. Just as I really got sucked into one game, they would switch to another.
But I am still ahead of my kid brother in our bracket challenge, so I've to a smug satisfaction about that.
Helpful hint - all games are streamed live on ncaa.org for free. No switching between games either.

Hey, I am not cleaning buffalo wing sauce out of my keyboard anymore. LOL
