You forget many things about the prequels due to how trivial they are. Case in point, I’d forgotten Dooku had given Obi-Wan Sidious’ name in AOTC until I re-watched the POS last month.

I remember the wedding now that I’ve been reminded but I don’t remember Christopher Lee mentioning Sidious at all.

You mean “DARTH. Sidious.”

I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.

Here you go.

It’s also Dooku’s one and only decent scene, if only because – for a brief instant in time – he’s portrayed as a nuanced antivillain with believable motivations and some depth. If Lucas hadn’t been so incompetent, Dooku could’ve been one of the PT’s saving graces instead of another dimensionless blunder.

When I was a kid, whenever my friends and I talked about movies, it was universally accepted that all of the Star Wars movies were one movie and were obviously number one. Any discussion of movies therefore would naturally have to start with that as a given.
Now their are more than just three, so I guess they have to be listed separately.
I am a big Blade Runner fan too. The new Blade Runner 2049 looks sure to impact this list!

  1. The Empire Strikes Back

  2. Star Wars

  3. Return of the Jedi

  4. Rogue One

  5. The Force Awakens

  6. Blade Runner

  7. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2

  8. Guardians of the Galaxy

  9. Casablanca

  10. Ghostbusters

  11. RoboCop

  12. Alien

  13. The Thing

  14. Citizen Kane

  15. Young Frankenstein

It probably is, but I’m not a big movie buff to begin with, so my pool of movies to pull from is small.

That said, some of the direct to DVD movies I watched as a kid hold a special place in my heart, even if they’re most likely indisputably bad movies.

That doesn’t mean much. I’ve seen all the classics but Star Wars is still it for me. Like what you like.

I couldn’t find “that’s not how the internet works” and I was too lazy to make it myself, so…

Original trilogy is definitely one of my favorites.
