She excels at playing two types; waifs and jail-bait.

Wut?

Did you see Garden State?  Did you see Black Swan?

Yes. She plays waif types in both those films.

I quirky mentally handicapped receptionis and an obsessive possibly psychotic dancer are waif types?

"I do not think that word means what you think it means."

WRONG PICTURE AND THREAD!!!

The third could have been good without overacting by the Emperor, make the duel less ridiculous on mustafar and make the turn to the darkside make sense.

Also if you did not have a sense of them ticking things off on a list to connect it to the original trilogy as if paint by numbers, they could have still linked them in an interesting way by being more subtle.  The only thing i think was done well was when the helmet comes down on Anakin and He is Masked as Vader.  And the sunset on tatooine.  The Frankenstein scene was horrible, we did not have to see Yoda land on dagobah it could have been implied.

 Well put.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Rewrite the Prequels!

That's a deleted scene from the DVD. It never appeared in the movie.

This. And thank God for that!

But it was in the script and it does describe Lucas tendency to over describe things and not use the less is more approach.  He does not allow his audience to imagine things, see the new wampa for instance in 1997 empire.

But frink is right its not in the finished video, but it had been intended to be included in the dlp version but they did not put it into the movie.

After all Lucas had also intended earlier on to have Han Solo in Revenge of the sith as a 13 year old in believe and Chewie's adopted brother, so at least that was dropped as was making palpy, Anakin's father, who created him through manipulation of midichlorians taught to him by Darth Plagueis.

“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.
