What are the differences between this Hannibal edit and the DigitalMan's edit (who also incorporated deleted scenes)? I haven't seen either version, but this reminded me of what I've read about his.

And what's the concept for the WOTW: Extinctive Cut? (as soon as I saw that flick, I thought it should've been edited)

well, the difference between the "Hannibalized" edit and "Hannibal: Desserts Served With Your Main Course" edit is that No.2 is just an extended version, including the deleted scenes and replacing the ending with the alternative ending. Hannibalized also has several of the deleted scenes, but also took out scenes from the original that were not fitting to the atmosphere we wanted. We did not consider Hannibal to short, we considered it a movie with a bad pacing and not enough atmosphere AND a Hannibal that does not fit to the character we knew from SOTL. To correct hannibal was our major reason for this edition and to focus on him and much less on Starling. See for yourself. Our edition will be available on torrent pages probably on sunday (still waiting for myspleen.com to allow me posting it).

The W.o.t.W. edition as we planned it for now wil have of course a different ending (parasytes??? no way!) and a diferent pacing throughout the entire movie. Our Extincitve edit will be shocking and definetly have no happy ending.

I find Hannibal to be quite a good movie, though it's not as faithful to the book as it could have been... do you have any plans to fix Red Dragon? Cause THAT'S the one that needs it!

I'd love to see your version though, where will I find the torrent?

PS: You are of course right, Hannibal isn't a "good person" - however everyone has a good and a bad side. Which deleted scenes did you put back in?

If you can send me some hi-res Hannibal stuff I could have a look at doing a cover for you - I have the official DVD, so I could scan that, but aside from it I don't have any other appropriate artwork...

I don't have any hi-res stuff either except for the wallpapers you find online. Still I would of course appreciate getting a nice DVD cover for Hannibalized.

I definitely think this is one of CBB's better edits. I wish the video quality was a bit better, but I really enjoyed this version of Hannibal. Keep up the great work!
