Info & Wanted: Titanic - a 4th disc from new set?

hey all,

anyone planning on getting the 4 disc edition? Here in R1 we’re only getting 3 discs.

Was wondering if someone was planning on torrenting that 4th disc or if i could get a copy of it?

Prefer someone in NTSC (Mexico/brazil/etc) but will take anything at this point.

LOL! I was just coming here to post this exact thing. I took a look at what it was gonna cost me to get the 4 disc set from overseas versus the cost of our 3 disc set (so far Circuit City has the best price at $17.99) and I can't see shelling out the extra cash. At least not right now.

Hope some kind soul can get this posted for us. Why-oh-why couldn't Fox have taken the domestic distribution! LOL.

I will buy the 4 disc edition, here in France, so in PAL mode.

If you can't find someone with a NTSC Version. I will send you a copy, for sure.

the CBB group is planning a special Titanic edition: The Jack Mix. It will reduce the lovestory to necessities,include deleted scenes (if they are to be used at all), remove old Rose completey and focus on the action. Titanic for manly men ;-)

Nothing about fanediting is easy.

Here's what Bill Williams told me via E-mail today concerning the fate of the Disc 4 supplements here in the U.S.:

"You know all of the fuss that’s been going on about the three comic skits that are on the fourth disc of the international release? Big news: they’re on the 3rd disc of the U.S. release as well! They’re hidden on the disc as Easter eggs. The SNL skit can be found in the Deleted Scenes menu – look for the couple in the “Extended Carpathia Sequence” toward the bottom of the screen. The “Titanic in 30 Seconds with Bunnies” clip can be found in the Still Galleries menu – you’ll have to go through the menu, but keep an eye on the arrow in the middle of the screen. And the MTV Movie Awards clip is in the Marketing menu – keep an eye peeled toward the vest at the bottom right of the screen. Another indicator that these features are on the disc is in the DVD credits section on Disc 3.



With this big find, that leaves just the trailer gallery and the HBO First Look special."

The skits were the last reason I wanted it. I want the trailers first and foremost. And I want the Making of Special as well. Those won't be "easter eggs" so I'm still looking for that 4th disc.

I can't believe in this day and age, with the highest grossing movie of all time getting overdue special DVD treatment, something couldn't have been worked out for the 4th disc to be included in R1. Or at the very least, a mail-order offer to get it or something. The whole thing is silly. But not surprising.
We don't have enough road to get up to 88.

Dude, it's Paramount. Fox does DVD right. Paramount sucks. It boils down to that simple fact.

On a side note, I almost got to buy this (the 3 disc) tonight. They had it out at Sam's. But the register wouldn't allow the sale. Dammit! And I had tomorrow open for movies, too. A note to all who plan on getting it: pay attention to the front sticker (the main art). On almost all of the over 100 or so copies Sam's had, the sticker was misaligned on the front of the blue case. Very shoddy. I can see why this is so cheap now.

Yup. I'd have to look at the name of it though. I think the set ended up being about $40 shipped.
