I'd suggest either the EditDroid ROTJ or... poop, I can't remember the other right now. Perhaps you could pester the people working on the X0 Project to forward you those specific scenes.

Can't you just cut out the added scenes in these parts?

Well, if you want WolfMan, you can get him in Empire of Dreams. I believe I saw him there.

This 'Sy' you refer to, is he in the dance scene at Jabba's? Cause in my ROTJ edit, that entire scene gets left on the cutting room floor.

Was he cut? (I've not watched the official DVDs.)

The cantina had replaced shots, not just added, though from what I hear above the original is in Empire of Dreams.

As for the Wampa scene, there is a shot of a shadow passing through the cave that was cut from the SE that I would like to restore.
There is also one long shot of Luke trying to free himself and then reaching out for his saber that was split into two shots and new wampa footage was inserted. 4 or five frames were cut out in between the two shots to prevent just cutting them back together.


Oh, and Sy Snootles is the singer in Jabba's palace.

Actually, there were two wolfmen and both were replaced by a hand puppet. And the new shots still stick out like a sore thumb!

I just looked all over Empire of Dreams for the original Wolfman, and I swear to God it was in there before. Now, I can't find it. However, the original 'Stormtroopers in the dead end' scene in the Death Star is in there. Needs alittle color correction, but it's not too bad. It probably could be used.
