Info Wanted: has anyone preserved 'Dead Poets Society - Extended TV Cut'?

Does anyone have this preserved? There was a special edition LaserDisc with this cut, but it’s never been released anywhere else. I copied the LD onto VHS years ago. I can’t find the LD anymore, does anyone have this? There was about 14 extra minutes if I remember correctly, and I really liked this cut better.

The “special edition” DVD has about 4 minutes of “rough takes”, or something of that nature, but none match the scenes on the LD if I’m not mistaken.

I have a german DVD of it w/ all the deleted scenes from the TV version - it would be cool if someone created a widescreen version of it.

Remember, Highlander, you’ve both still got your full measure of life. Use it well, and your future will be glorious.

What is the runtime of the DVD? Are the deleted scenes inserted into the movie? If not, what kind of quality are they in? Is it not widescreen? Can I ask any more questions????

I just purchased a Widescreen Laserdisc of the extended cut. Hopefully I can get it transferred soon.

I made a "bonus" dvd with all of these deleted scenes from the laserdisc.

They were never officially released anywhere on DVD.

Not that it contributes anything to this potential project, but I hated this movie (still do) so if you can make it enjoyable, I'll give it a look.

 Is it in English? I'd really like to see that. Unfortunately I think it's illegal to distribute copies.

I'm not sure if this thread is still active, but I have the Laserdisk version with the 14 minutes of extra footage. I agree, it is a better version of an already great film. If this is active, let me know...
