Have the Faces set. Can’t for the life of me make a significantly better version than TR47.
Using a Sony Laserdisc MDP-455 (which, I know, is pretty much shit), through and AJA Io at 10 bit precision which converts the video to 10bit SDI uncompressed, digitizng at 10bit Uncompressed into my Mac. I’m digitizing at 0-IRE hopeing to get every little bit of info out of the picture. But to no avail… while it’s looking maybe 30% better than the original TR47 after some heavy filtering in Shake/After Effects, it’s not worth the time pursuing.
What the cheapest Elite player I could get do ya think? Best bang for the buck? or should i just be patient and give the X0 project my cash?
