Info Wanted: Voice Consistency Question - suggestions wanted for a TPM Edit...

I am working on an edit of TPM and I am changing the Trade Federation dialog using audio clips from Apocalypto. Towards the beginning of the film, the Neimoidians are talking to the protocol droid about the Jedi. Originally my plan was to use lines from Apocalypto but edited to sound more robotic.

Unfortunately the result is not even close to what the droid sounds like when welcoming Obi Wan and Qui Gon. If you were watching the movie, would the change be acceptable as the droid is speaking in another language? If you think the difference is jarring, do you have any suggestions to make the two clips sound similar? Here is a google drive link with both audio clips.

There’s plenty of precedent in Star Wars for one character to speak English to another character who’s speaking an alien language that’s subtitles. Just look at Han/Greedo in ANH and Jabba in ROTJ.

I say replace the droid’s voice in every instance and subtitle it, even when speaking to the Jedi.
