Info Wanted: The Evil Dead trilogy - what are the best versions?

I was wondering what are the best editions of The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness.

Army of darkness confuses me though, There is a fanedit called screwhead and universal made a dvd/bd called screwhead

the primitive screwhead fan edit is essentially the directors cut of ed2 with some of the lines changed to the us theatrical ones, and every deleted scene crammed in where appropriate, and an altered 5.1 surround mix

isnt the ultimate editon of ed1 the best tho and army of darkness german bd with all 4 releases ? and whats different between mono and stereo
