Has anyone been succesfull in recreating the original 20th Century Fox and Lucasfilm logos for the original trilogy? If so, can you post a full size clip here?

Or can you give me a list of movies that have the same opening 20th century fox logo of ANH/ESB and ROTJ? Thanks a lot!

Here you go....

My rendition


This is the version I'm using in "Shroud of the Dark Side". I was going to use the logo from the Ewok films, but I discovered the font and spaciing of the logo was actually altered. Perhaps you can use this.

As far as the fox logo, the film "Alien" has a logo pretty much identical to the Star Wars one. I actually don't have that yet, so if anyone could post a link to a rip of those few seconds of footage from the Alien DVD, I'd be very grateful as well as Hal.

Trooperman, I have the Alien DVD (both the 20th Anniversary Edition and the Quadrilogy version) but they're both in PAL. Still, I could rip and upload the logo if you need it.

I actually have the alien clip, Trooperman. PM me with your email and I'll send it to you ASAP.

Bur truthfully, I didn't find the video quality of the opening logos from the Cowclops V.2 disc, so I'll probably just use that.
But I only have the first one. Could anyone with the Cowclops V.2 send me the video clip of the opening logos for ROTJ? I would appreciate it, and thanks in advance.
If anyone needs anything else, please ask.

EDIT: Oops, I see he beat me to it. If it helps, I have the NTSC version.

Hal 9000, I think you would be able to get the clip to Trooperman sooner and from memory his project's in NTSC. So you can go right ahead, don't mind me.

I don't have much room on my computer at the moment so you might have to wait for me to burn off some stuff to make room. Please let me know how I should rip it (i.e which program and what settings - people have preferences after all) and also how you'd like me to get it to you. Please do this here as my PMs are overflowed. I think it's still to do with the topic as it's the old 20th Fox logo as Hal has asked about.

Is there any kind of consensus on the colour of the LFL and "A long time ago" title cards? I've got the shapes down pretty well, and some nice, crisp text, but the variety in the LD rips available has left me a little bewildered as to the proper colours.
