Info Wanted: 'Raintree County' (1957) - has any done a preservation?

Hello.

I was wondering if anyone has any preservation DVDR for “Raintree County”.

The film hasn’t an official release and there are various sources of it in bootlegs etc…

There is this roadshow version too, which adds much more footage, but it seems the sources for that are problematic.

I’ve read that it was broadcasted in HD 1080i in HDnet Broadcast and it looked good.

Also I hear there is a laserdisc of it.

Does anyone have these sources?

I LOVE this film, and from what it seems we won’t see any official release (and hopefully a Bluray) soon, since it’s too expensive to restore as they say.

TCM is airing this again on July 19th!

Would anyone be interested in a capture?

I'd be grateful because I can't watch TCM.

Just bumped this thread in case anyone would be interested in a preservation of this wonderful film, either from laserdisc or a TCM broadcast..

There's a PAL DVD version up over on Rutracker. I think they still have open registration.

 Yes, I have it.

But I thought maybe the Laserdisc and/or TCM broadcast is better...
