Info Wanted: Changes in the Prequel films?

Hello, my first post

I’ve got a lot of free time , so I’ve decided to re-edit the prequels (and later the OT) to match their theatrical versions.
But I need your small help here.

Episode I - I know I have to remove the “air taxi” sequence, and new shots from the podrace. But where there also any sound changes ? I have the original version recorded from TV with slovak audio, so I can compare the video changes, but not audio.

Episode II - My “tv-broadcast” VHS is identical to the official DVD . What does it mean ? I don’t believe Lucas didn’t do ANY changes to this movie. Please if you know about ANY video/audio changes for E2, please help me.

Episode III - the same.

Welcome Pittrek.

Numerous changes were made to both Episodes I & II from the theatrical versions to DVD. Episode III had one minor change which doesn't amount to much.

If you look around here, you'll find several of our esteemed editors have already attempted this process with great success, and the threads can offer you vauable insight into not only the alterations that were made, but also the process which the editors went through.

1 change from AotC is that Padme takes both of Anis hands insted of one when they get married.

Eli's comment brings up an interesting point. Since AotC was released on opening day in two forms (film and digital) which one does everyone consider to be "canon"? The wedding scene was shown opening day in two forms. The strictly mechanical hands/bacta covered aka two hand hold/one hand hold versions. If your trying to match the theatrical then i would guess you'd be attempting to match the film version.

I guess they would technically both be "theatrical versions" or up to the judgement of the viewer/whoever is making the edits. Its kind of like which is the "correct" sound mix for Star Wars-Mono or the 35 mm/70 mm mix? I guess it depends on which one you saw.

Any ideas about audio changes ?

And BTW does ANYBODY have the ORIGINAL 6-track and stereo mixes of ANH ? I thought they're the same as the mixes on the first EditDroid disc, but from what I read here,it looks they're slightly different

ANH audio..........

The 6 track is only available in the re-created EditDroid form.

The 1977 stereo mix has been captured from a 1985 LaserDisc and will be available on the forthcoming Lancer project.

Check this thread to see my ramblings on the OT soundtracks. There was not a lot of interest or feedback.
