Any good fan edits? I’d love to have emanswfan’s Filmized Editions but I can’t seem to find these anywhere. The thing is, I can’t stand the look of the films as they are either, so color regrade recommendations are much appreciated.

The Best copy for prequel trilogy? thread may be of some interest - along with other discussion threads in the The ‘Which Is Best?’ SW Preservation Project discussion threads… section of the An Index Thread (and more) for Star Wars Preservations…

emanswfan’s ‘Filmized Editions’ can be found in the Star Wars Prequels 35mm 4K Filmized Editions by Emanswfan thread, listed in the Star Wars Preservations (non-Original Trilogy) - from any source… section of the An Index Thread (and more) for Star Wars Preservations….

If you’re looking for Fan Edits - and not Preservations, there are similar ‘Index’ and ‘Which is the best Edit?’ threads in the Star Wars Fan Edits and Other Projects section of the site.

Good luck with it 😃

The best way to watch the prequels is with your eyes closed, and ear plugs firmly in place 😉

I personally think the theatrical edits, preferably with a friend and a bowl of popcorn!

If you never saw the prequels, you could give a chance to the official ones (try Schorman’s HDTV preservations)…
You’ll enjoy the fan edits more if you know what they tried to change.

I used to watch these all the time when I had a functioning DVD player, but it stopped working years ago. Since then, I’ve never bothered to sit through them in their entirety for whatever reason. I think all the negative opinions kinda killed my love for the trilogy lol. But I’ll definitely check Schorman’s work out, thanks!
