necro'd.
I've been looking around at several different fanedits over the years, and thus far it seems to me that Q2's Fall of the Jedi Trilogy is the best prequel trilogy. Primarily, his Episode III is the best Ep 3 edit I've seen so far.
At first, I greatly preferred Stankpac's edit, though his DVD release had no menu and his title card had a nearly-naked woman on it. When he released later versions, however, the DVD menus looked amateurish and his Palpatine "Sith-reveal" was done poorly.
I've watched Kerr's Dark Force Rising, and it is good as far as content, but the whole thing is sped up. As in, the framerate of the movie is increased. Not only is the video faster than it feels it should be, but also the voices of the characters are higher pitched and it's jarring.
While L8wrtr's Episode 1 and 2 are good, his Episode 3 includes Chewbacca and removes Yoda's use of a lightsaber without showing how he managed to escape from the clones. Also, as mentioned previously, his "sith-reveal" wasn't done well because it's not obvious why Palpatine looks different.
