@ timdiggerm

I started this thread for the KCOP project yet this other project is discussed here for some reason. The KCOP project was never completed. Why is this a bad thing to want ones thread removed. I have been trying to get rid of this for years. LOL!!

Someone (no names) jumped the gun and sent it to some people it shouldn't have been sent to in the unfinished state it was in, but eyes were now watching. So, yeah. Whatever was put out there by this individual is now what you get. One bad anxious apple ruined it for the whole basket. WB should now send this complete team in to work on restoring from the actual elements. Make it "official" already. Ain't gonna happen you know.

Step back. Any upload titled 'Superman The Movie Restored International Cut', 'Superman The Movie KCOP' or 'Superman The Movie Salkind' or variations thereof cuts were in no way shared by myself, phineas, Mitch nor Superman1978.com, its associated websites (SupermanII.com, SupermanIII.com, SupermanIV.com and SupergirlTheMovie.com) or message board or OriginalTrilogy.com and are solely the responsibility of original uploader.

I hope you enjoy whatever versions are available and the hard work that went into their making.

So the version that was uploaded by Jim Bowers is unfinished?

There is and never will be a KCOP cut. Rumors run rabid. The version Bowers put up was a 16mm print and not the restored cut that doesn't exist. I do have some clips from the project that were restored but as times went on the KCOP cut ended in failure. We did finish Dune - Third Stage and all the Highlander II's though. However, sadly the KCOP was never finished. I just wish this thread would go away. lol....

I don't think WB can stop people from discussing the possibilities of what could have been or what they would love to see happen.  Where is the harm in that?

No offense but Mitch and Alex seem more like sour grapes at this point. There is no harm.

Well then, I'd certainly love to see these versions archived.  Christopher Reeve's history as an actor and as a voice should deserve no less and I'm sure Richard Donner would agree.  He speaks very highly of Christopher in every interview I've ever read or heard.

So.... those links that were deleted. Who grabbed the file and is willing to upload? ;)

I second this.

Anyone who finished downloading whatever got released should upload to MySpleen or somewhere.

But the explanation for why this wasn't completed is still confusing.

I wonder if the person who did the Superman II set would take over this project?

Maybe uploading it shouldn't be discussed so openly considering it's been poo-poo'd a bit and might bring unwanted issues from unknown people.

The links were obviously removed by the uploader for a reason, right?

Yeah, but the thread has been deleted, so what does it matter?

Was there ever artwork created for both 1 and 2 together in one case?

I'll send a free copy of my blu-ray to anyone who will create artwork for the set with 1 and 2 together. ;)

If there IS a copy out there it is an incomplete version of what may have been.

As you may have seen clips on various sites... those are varying in quality and, obviously from way before the it had been worked on and some things fixed up better.

Only a few on the planet have the real finalized sound and image version, and digitalfreak is NOT one of those people.

How do I know? Because the stuff that may have been passed out was far from a final completed pass.

Amusing that you make this statement, considering the board you're on.

You do realize that even making a copy for yourself (which you've already admitted to) is a copyright violation anyway.

And I see no monumental distance between the two shots that would warrant someone desperately searching out this underground "final version" that only an elite number of people have.

All anyone really cares about are the deleted scenes anyway.

Bottom line: relax. No one is saying you're distributing it.
