Info: 'South Park' - episode 201 - Speech Preservation...

I’d like to start by saying that this is my first time doing something like this. Any feedback would be appreciated. I’ve made a preservation of the censored speech at the end of episode 201 of South Park. However, I haven’t found a way to fix the beeps whenever a character says “Muhammad”. Is anyone interested in this? If so, where should I upload it?

Episode 201 was supposed to be censored - that's the joke. The creators may have backtracked on this due to fan backlash but just look at the scene where Tom Cruise is in the machine with Muhammad and draining his power. Muhammad is censored by a black box and, as Tom Cruise absorbs his power, he becomes censored by a black box too! That scene wouldn't make any sense without the censorship.

This myth about the network censoring episode 201 is cute but the joke is on anyone who believes it wasn't intended that way. :p

they left this episode off the DVD and BD boxsets in the UK completley

Can anyone confirm that the censorship was a hoax?  Word was lawyers were involved to get an uncut version released.

 The censorship was definitely not a hoax.  The confusion is probably due to the fact that some of the censorship was part of the plot, but some of it, like the bleeping of the entire ending speech, was completely against the creators' will.  Where did you hear about lawyers working towards an uncut release?  I'm pretty sure the recently leaked content wasn't part of anything official...

IIRC the lawyer things was posted on SouthPark.com after the whole debacle happened.

I believe their blog there had a few updates about their efforts to provide the uncut version on their website as they usually do.

Snagged the TPB version, haven't watched it yet, hopefully it is legit.
