One of our former members, Jetrell Fo, has acquired the CD-ROM Cinema DTS discs of all the Star Wars films, I-VI, and has shared them to the community.

You may read about our usage here:

and here:

I’ve acquired them through via download from the usenet circuit in the form of an ISO disc image.

Those who like the 1997 SE mix might also be interested in Hal 9000’s project where he “Despecialized” the 1997 DTS audio from these discs to fit the original versions. He did a great job!

Yikes! Did prices on DTS theater discs just go up, or is this seller overestimating their value? I paid a mere pittance many years ago for the ones I have in my collection.

“Hey look - it says ‘Star Wars’ on it. You should sell that on eBay - it must be worth a fortune. Those collectors are nuts, they’ll pay any amount of money for something with Star Wars on it.”

Would love to acquire the 97 SE DTS files for TESB and ROTJ to sync with the films. Where can these be found or what community releases contain them?

Thanks. The DTS-MA versions have a single seeder but the uncompressed wavs have no seeders. If anyone knows how to get these please let me know.

Utter madness, as the discs are easily copied. I’ve seen 35mm prints for sale with duplicate DTS discs. The sellers don’t conceal the fact they’re copies.
