Nice covers, but they are listed in the list on my sig though.

The list above is just WIP covers of possible coming soon titles, we have no WIP's for either of the Terminators or True Lies yet.

I have a couple of suggestions for future Team Blu projects as it appears that there are no releases coming any time soon:

Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight

Rollerball (1975)

It appears that there are HDX versions available for rent, so these might be possible depending how the RotLD 2 project goes.

Demon Knight is already planned.

I always like the widescreen LD version of it.  My daughter loves it too.

Will Swamp Thing have the lovely big bubbies we all have grown to love?

No nudity = epic fail!

Robocop - There is one project presumably in the works by someone else but I think it would great if Team Blu could do this too.

Robocop is planned as sort of a joint project between myself and Team Blu at the moment.  I have all the sources and a re-edited video of the unrated version using three different sources but it needs color correction and I'm still working on some of the extras.

Ghostbusters 2 as others have mentioned, no telling if and when we will ever get an official Blu release.  Another one I would love to see is Pumping Iron, I'm a huge Arnold fan and would watch this repeatedly during my bodybuilding days.  Sadly there is only the DVD release that I know of so I'm not sure there'd be much room for improvement.  Sadly I doubt a Blu release of this will ever come!

This would be nice, I am a huge Arnold Fan as well, I was in bodybuilding for almost 12 years and I actually met him back in 1996 at The Arnold Classic, You_Too has actually seen the pic of my with him but it was a polaroid, so he actually made huge improvements to it so I could get a nice 8x10.

That's awesome!  Would have loved to meet Arnold, my favorite all time bodybuilder.

Tombstone is another one that comes to mind.  I love the movie but the official release video leaves a lot to be desired.

I agree Tombstone could use some work.

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is a movie that's way to dark and could use the Team Blu touch as well.

Another one is The Last of the Mohicans

Is there a good way to capture movies off of Amazon Instant Video?

The reason that I ask is that there appears to be HD sources for a few potential Team Blu projects that I would like to request/recommend.  The following snippet taken from the FAQ page is intriguing and indicates..."Our HD files are streamed in high-quality 720p resolution, or can be downloaded to TiVo at 1080i resolution."

If it's viable, then the following are all available in HD and would make great projects IMHO as there have been zero announcements about potential releases anytime soon:

-Return of the Living Dead 3 (R-Rated)[I would prefer uncut as well but this will due in the interim]

-Tales from Crypt: Bordello of Blood [Not as good as Demon Knight but still fun and would make good companion piece for the upcoming Team Blu Demon Knight project]

-The Hidden (1987)

I found Explorers via Usenet... it's 14 gigs and it's from HDNET Movies in 1080i according to the description.  It has the bug in the lower right corner that says "HDNet Kidscene" which kinda sucks.  It's the best I've seen it look to date.  On another note, does anybody have an opinion regarding Black Christmas (1974).  I'm just asking because it has been said that the original mono on the BD is the way to go, as the remix used stems from a workprint and tampers with the balance of many scenes.  I had never seen this film in my life and just watched it.  Man that was scary.  Even today.  I can only imagine what the reaction was like in '74.  The remix didn't hurt the experience but I know I should stick to the mono.  It seems that there are some sync issues with the remix on the retail BD but there also seems to be some slightly suspect ADR as well.  I'm new to Black Christmas so maybe you guys know, but I love the film anyway.  In the documentary the director Bob Clark says that he met John Carpenter on a project and John asked him about a sequel to Black Christmas as it's open ended to some degree depending on how you look at it.  Bob said that if he did do a sequel he would set it on Halloween night a year after the murders when the deranged killer escapes and goes back to his home town.  A sequel was never made of course.  I don't know if the story is true but that's what Bob Clark said in the documentary during his interview.  Halloween does owe a bit to the style of Black Christmas clearly.  When A Stranger Calls also lifted the central premise.  I love John Carpenter's stuff so I figure they were just really creative guys who wanted to tell these stories.  Bob Clark seemed like a good man.  Rest easy friend.

TOMBSTONE would be great if we could restore the longer cut. But I believe only the Theatrical cut has been shown on HD. The Extended cut DVD is riddled with Edge Enhancement and that is not something you can get rid of.

If they can be downloaded to a device like a TiVO or other streaming media player, it's possible that the video and audio could be captured with the right equipment.

Convoy (1978) has been broadcast on MGM HD Channel quite regularly.  It actually looks pretty great.

I have the Explorers 2004 DVD.  I also have a lossless version of All Around The World by Robert Palmer which wasn't released on the soundtrack until they did the Expanded version recently.

:)
