Info & Ideas: ESB and ROTJ Wishlist — Page 256

Well, this is just a wish list. Nothing here is gonna be absolutely in any version of Adywan's or anyone else's work but it's just a forum to toss around ideas.

Some of of these wishes/suggestions are serious and completely valid likecolor correction, lightsaber fixes, continuity, etc... but others are just conceptual and perhaps a personal test of skill to make something look cooler or just outrageously funny or crazy. It's a big galaxy, plenty of room for all of us to play. It's kinda like if you were making ROTJ, what would you like to have in it? Thus the topic says "wishlist" not "mandatory insertions..." that's ILM's forum when Lucas has an idea... =D 

Just a suggestion: When Vader's mask is taken off, have his eyes fade from "Sith Eyes" to his normal eyes and then when he dies, fade the head out of the suit.

But Vader turned from the dark side like10 minutes previous.  And Sith eyes only turn on when doing something totally evil...

Yes, and Ady will not add any sith eyes. I have a feeling that he is not going to add any sith eyes to these movies. He might take them away for all we know.

You take that back!  NOTHING is as pointless as midicloreans!  I mean, if Palps flat out explained that he cloned midicloreans to create Anakin (as was my 2000 theory), maybe, but in the current PT, it is the most stupid/upsetting thing ever!

Those don't have to be Sith Eyes.  They could just be that the spike-headed, tattooed monster has crazy eyes.

Yeah, you don't see "Jedi Eyes" lol... Actually I had a theory about midichorians that the interpretation of them is actually from mitochondria.

In eukaryotic cell the mitochondria are responsible for the creation of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) which is the bulk of our energy ("Force") stems from other than the electron transport chain and the Kreb's cycle. What's interesting about mitochondria is that they are the only organelles outside of the nucleus that have their own DNA... This has lead to the theory that early in the evolution of Eukaryotic cells, mitochondria were an ancient form of bacteria that were absorbed into the eukaryotic cells as a source to provide energy to the cell and the cell provides nutrients and defense... "Symbiots living for mutual advantage". Trust me, I'm a biologist.

In that sense, life as we know it would not exist... However, adding the science element as complicated as that and asking the audience to take it at face value is too much. I think wasn't necessary because it takes away form the mystical aspect of the Force. Which I can also explain via the 1st law of thermodynamics and E=mc^2. =D

A saga edit with Sitheyes and even Jedeyes could possibly work but they would have to be applied consistently.

If Maul and Palpatine's eye's work the same way as Anakin's would they be switched on all the time like in TPM and ROTJ?

They would have to be switched on and off, or ALL good Jedi would have Dune eyes and all Sith would have fiery eyes all the time.  Maybe Maul had impure thoughts at all times?

Wouldn't Anakin's be on through out most of his ROTS battle with Obi-Wan?

At the very least from the moment he chokes his wife.

Would we see them fade away when Luke takes off Vader's helmet?

If it was an immediate effect, it would have faded well before then.

I'm not saying we should do this, I think its silly.  I'm just breaking it down for those who want to do it, heaven help them.

No, no that's a good point. Even if he had them the whole time they should have changed back by then already ten minutes prior. What about Vader's body disapearing from the suit?

lol forgot there was the professor here but let me elaborate.

1st law of thermodynamics states energy can not be created or destroyed. Therefore there's just a steady state of energy at all times aka in SW terms: The Force.

With E=mc^2, energy = mass x speed of like squared which essentially means matter and energy are interconvertible (ie nukes). Therefore, The Force is everything and everything is the Force...

I would personally like to see the Sith eyes go, Maul's eyes were part of his body. They are naturally part of him and his design. Dooku never has Sith eyes thank god. Anakin randomly has Sith eyes in Epi3 while looking at the camera, you george's way of saying:

''Look kids Anakin has yellow eyes, he has now turned evil!''

Palpatine having yellow eyes was good but wouldnt fit in with the rest if all other yellow eyes went. I never imagined Palpatine changing by electricution, I always assumed from epi2 and the OT that he was an evil decaying body by epi6. That it was the force keeping him alive. I'm never gonna put my finger near a socket again, you know, just in case i might turn wrinkly and it spoils my lovely blue eyes haha.

Actually Maul is an Iridonian (aka Zabrak) and those tattoos are not natural nor is his eye color as most iridonian has brown eyes (however, I suppose it is possible for Iridonian's to have yellow eyes... I dunno, I'm not a xeno-biologist... (am a biologist though fyi! =D) ). Maul is the same species as Jedi Master Eeth Kolar who's on the Jedi Council and all other Iridonians I've seen have brown eyes so it maybe safe to say that Maul's baby yellows are a product of being a Sith.

I personally don't like how Anakin turn happened in Episode III, it was melodramic and happen in a second. There was no gradual fall, it was a light switch. Anakin and Mace should of fought like in the video game (it was actually much better there). Anyway, I think taking out the Sith yellow would be fine, just make the light in Anakin's eyes dimmer, darker, narrower... Dooku didn't have Sith eyes so I don't see the point. =P

Besides, Sith eyes have nothing on Hitokiri Battousai, Himura Kenshin:

He'd whip Anakin like nothing... =P
