Cheap for a JP Blu-ray, and it cleans up nice. The photo says Fortune Star but others say it's Mei Ah. I don't actually know or care, but it's good.

I think the JP Blu of Hard Boiled is Paramount (Home Video).

There's different studio logos all over this damned thing, who knows? Paramount is certainly the biggest logo on the disc itself though.

No, it's the same one you used for your release. Paramount's right over the whole top half of the disc. Mei Ah's a smaller logo, then there's a few others too.

Times are hard at the moment but im doing o.k compared to some.
Will update and finish when I get a chance, its been a long project and really all that it can be is an upconvert of the EMS / HK Legends DVD to 1080p. The rest of the prints I could find are really horrible.
Will be nice to have everything The Killer I could find collected on 2-discs tho.

Has anyone got the Criterion commentary for HARD BOILED handy?
I'm putting together a custom-subbed BD of KILLING ZOE and the director, Roger Avary, has expressed interest in checking it out.
I was thinking of throwing in a copy of Matt's HARD BOILED and thought it would be nice to include the commentary that Avary himself appears on. Assuming that it syncs up reasonably well, that is...

Not at the moment. Had a stretch of work after a few hellish years without so that is my priority.
Having problems with Blu-ray compatibility when doing test renders! So need time to iron this out.
Its a pretty big upload to, 25gig for the main feature and extra feature disc/s. so it maybe sometime before a final version is available.

Harvey Weinstein has almost as much to answer for as Lucas, but he's not the only offender. The state of Hong Kong action cinema on video is fucking apalling, how many films don't have he mono track and have crappy transfers? It's extraordinary.
