Hi,

I noticed in the some people asked about this workprint so I thought would post some footage of it in form of a compilation and some clips of it that I have uploaded on youtube some time ago.

The facility scene is very different with extra shots and temporary score from License to Kill and has an extra longer shot of the barrels falling down at the end of the scene which is not in the final film. There is also alternate music when Bond drives to the Casino and meets Xenia.

An unique shot of Bond firing the piston gun which is not in the released film.

Hi,
I seen the Goldeneye clips. Do you have a copy of the workprint itself? I know that and Tomorrow Never Dies is floating around in hardcore Bond fan collections who refuse to trade.

Thanks,
Jeff

What an interesting thread. I am aware this workprint includes the original shot of Alec being shot in the head during the prologue.

they had to trim that shot because the MPAA would have given Goldeneye an R Rating. Screw the MPAA!!! This also happened with the Decompression Chamber Scene in License To Kill upon it’s release in 1989 , but fortunately it was restored on the Ultimate Edition DVD and the BD!!

Is there any way to get the full workprint from anywhere? I’d love to be able to get it and put it on the Spleen there’s no reason for the workprint to be so rare!

Bit of a late bump but I was wondering if there is anyone with the workprint that could send it to me.
I’d be willing to trade or donate for it, I reckon it’s worth the trouble, I love this movie and I’d love to see the workprint.
