I'm looking forward to it. You and You_Too work well together. The colors, most of all, look amazing and are possibly better than the colors in the LD and DVD releases.

What release had the Iso Scores?
They were released through two soundtracks. Thing is though one of them has all the Terminator soundtrack on it excluding the club and radio songs. The other includes the excluded songs mentioned and a few more songs from the movie.

Then you probably have the old blu-ray release. The one we're correcting was released in February this year.

Could I have a PM for the Terminator 1 mono track? I have the recent Remastered BD if that matters for syncing purposes. I trust you can load up Tsmuxer, add the ripped MKV for the BD, then add the mono track, and mux it with default settings, and have it come out OK?
I've actually been trying to do this myself for nearly a week, using the 1997 DVD from Image for audio, but it's been giving me tons of trouble. Closest I've gotten is that I've used AviDemux to make an MKV file with the remastered video and somewhat edited audio in multichannel PCM (the DVD is AC3 2.1). The MKV plays alright and seems to sync up reasonably well, but when I process it through Tsmuxer, it gets out of sync. For instance you hear the T-800 say "wrong" at the exact moment you see the shotgun discharge. Now that I've wasted a precious Saturday on this project, I'm ready to beg for help from those who have already done it.
I'm interested to see Terminator 2 from this project, i was really disapointed with the dnr on the blu-ray release, i read that the japanese release does not have this problem. DJ do you have a copy of the japanese release?

That's right, the japanese version doesn't have that heavy DVNR, so you can see the grain and everything. Though it's been slightly stretched vertically and thus blurred a little bit, but this will be corrected in our version.
I also think that overall, T2 needs a slight saturation increase as well as balancing out the pink skin tones.

Funny you should say that, I just tried an encode to match a few 35mm stills and the results are interesting to say the least, will post shots in a bit if no one minds me hijacking the thread a little.

Far from 100% happy it is only my first run (and I was only messing wanting to encode something at 4k for a friend), but there is something to be said for a slight change.
About the pink tones i'm not sure how T2 is originally intended to look but i do see there is some pink in the Blu-Ray version, it would be interesting to see some of these 35mm stills of T2.
Btw i read that the original UK Blu-Ray of T2 is the same or has similar quality to the Japanese release but without the vertical stretch, although it is the directors cut not the theatrical cut.
You are correct about the UK disc, by far the best of a bad bunch
Would you mind sharing the 35mm stills you have? They might prove useful if they're in good quality.
