Info: Freddy's Nightmares - The NoES TV series... no torrents?

Very odd. Considering they have a rather expensive ($65 and it’s spread over 15 discs?!) fan-made DVD set for sale, you’d think someone would have torrented the entire series so as to avoid others having to make such an expensive purchase (considering it’s 90% bootlegs). But no such luck. There’s one or two episodes up for download, but even their torrents are all but dead. Any diehard Freddy fans here have the boxset? If so, would it be out of the question to upload it somewhere? I understand 15 discs is a big haul, but you could do what most uploaders do and shrink the videos down to VCD size (which would come out to 10 GB instead of 66; though I’d brave the larger download if someone’s crazy enough to put it up). Or I could cough up the dough for it and stop whining.

Nah.

Yea I know it was an enjoyable series and I liked it. But on the internet all I could find were a few scattered episodes. If someone could torrent the discs I would be very appreciative.

I second this, I hate to give $ to these DVD-R traders but sometimes someone has to to get it out in the community for it to be free. What's really sad too is sometimes people insist on trading and if you don't have anything they want they won't even take a few $ to cover shipping and a blank. You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.

They're available for $45 if you PM a certain user at Nightmare on Elm Street Films' website forum (do a Google search). I'm going to ask for the seven NoES films for Easter, so I might ask for this set, as well (altogether, I'll pay less for both the series and the movies than I did for all the Halloween films). If no one else has done it by then, I will rip the DVD contents (in full quality, but just the episodes so as to keep the size down as low as possible) and torrent the series. I suppose it's my turn to take one for the team, especially after the gracious help I've received in my topic on alternate Halloween cuts.
