Is there still a desire for the Laserdisc PCM audio? I can rip all three and have them posted within the next few days at myspleen, if anyone would like. I don't have the blu rays though so I don't think I can sync them. Do the old DVD versions stay in sync with the blu ray?
If I had some gum, I’d chew a hole into the sun…
The laserdisc audio tracks are already available and synced to the HDTV/DCP versions :)

I'm definitely interested in some bit-perfect rips. I don't think the currently-available ones are bit-perfect. (Please correct me if I'm wrong about this.)
A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.
I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

No they are not bit-perfect but I don't think that makes a huge difference unless you want to listen to them on a big theater audio system.
They were captured with a Presonus prosumer sound card using the line inputs.

DCP video + laserdisc bit-perfect audio = interesting result... (^^,)
In particular because there are different languages laserdiscs - beside english, there are french, german, italian and spanish, all available at least for part 1.
Sadly my projects are lost due to an HDD crash… 😦 | [Fundamental Collection] thread | blog.spoRv.com | fan preservation forum: fanres.com

What does "bit-perfect" mean? I've no idea.

With the actual dcp file not this re-encode? If so then I agree

French audio tracks are available for part I, II & III ;)

That the rips in question are bit-by-bit identical with the PCM track on the LD.

It's not a practical concern, but rather an archival one.

Are you able to play 2K JPEG2000 at 24 fps?

I have the Elysium 4k trailer and a few 2k ones, so yus
If the re-encoded DCP at 40mbps is good, why can't we use it? I mean, I have only a "simple" 1080p tv set, so a 2K (or a 4K) that will be 200+ GB is a bit overkill to me... (^^,) while a good BD-50 made using the re-encoded DCP (if, of course, the encoding is well done) should be much better than the BD... am I wrong?

I think the re-encoded DCP to 1080p looks great, it has very high bitrate and it definitely is better than the blu-ray.
Is there going to be a project to change the color timing or is it fine the way it is?
I would just like to play and re encode it, it can always be better
News of the DCPrip is awesome, has someone mentioned whether the credits are correct aspect?

And the wheels on the Marty's skateboard are pink in the Delorean scene. Same master as DVD.

It is, unfortunately, not possible at this time to download a blu-ray disc, as sufficiently advanced computer-controlled matter compilers do not exist... yet.
It is, however, possible to download the contents of a blu-ray disc, but that's not something we're allowed to discuss here: http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Fan-edit-preservation-forum-rules-and-FAQ/forum/18/post/227588/#TopicPost227588
The following isn't possible yet either: http://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20091211062034AAObJCi
