I am not a spy or schizophrenic I just want information on getting a 2004 Star Wars: A New Hope Corrected dvd. How do I get one? Will 20th Century Fox send me a replacement disc with the corrected 2004 Star Wars: A New Hope dvd 5.1 audio?

Adywan's edit of ANH probably has the best color/sound correction. It removes some of the Special Edition alterations and adds others, however, but if you like the 2004 DVD then you'll probably be OK with Adywan's:

Yeah, Fox or Lucasfilm themselves won't do anything for you, especially since they refuse to admit there's anything wrong.
But as stated above, Adywan's Star Wars Revisited would be the way to go I'd say. It's what the Special Edition should have been. As close to perfect as one could get with the available resources in terms of visuals and sound.

It's perfectly legal to download it as long as you own the source material (the 2004 official DVD)

I have to admitt I was wrong I've watched the dvd of Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope and all of you are right the sound is messed up on the english version and the french version has the correct audio. I am sorry I was claming everybuddy wrong. You all arr right and I was wrong. I just hope when the blu-ray version comes out the audio on Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope is fixed.
