In 30 years why do you think Emporer... — Page 4

If you only include the OT then he didn’t have a first or last name, so who’s to say he was even a human species. Probably a human-like species. He might have a tail under that robe.

He’s human but he’s so evil that his evilness can circumvent biology. He’s just that evil.

That’s true but if Stat Wars only consisted of the OT I wouldn’t want take a look under the robes to find out.

The same thing I said to MathUser applies. If The Emperor was a changing I would be baffled to believe he would ever show his true form. If I were a changling I would probably turn into a Ithorian most of the time.

He’s human

Interesting theory.

Near humans didn’t come into existence until way the fuck after ROTJ so if we’re talking in the context of only the OT you would have to assume he’s human.

His ability to hold his form was damaged in the Force lighting rebound which is why he looks like a giant rubber shit.

There’s nothing in any of the films that indicates that anyone is a human. I don’t know what this “way the fuck after ROTJ” is.

Well there is a cut line from STAR WARS in which Leia says something like “And you call yourselves human” or something like that.

I don’t know what this “way the fuck after ROTJ” is.

I can see why you would say that because for some time stopped after ROTJ.

Cut line = didn’t happen.

TFA = after ROTJ = no humans.

The answer is clear in the movies. Exposure to the Emperor’s lightning kills Vader. He couldn’t channel it through his suit. Even if he could use it, there’s not really any part of the movie it would be necessary for him to do so anyway. I always just figured the force choke was more of his signature move, lightning the Emperor’s.

Apparently Jabba is “a wonderful human being.”

I don’t know if humans are in the movie at all. In Ep IV Han thinks Jabba is a terriffic human being.

Well, in Ep IV c3po says he is human-cyborg relations, or something like that, this is from V

You people are actually having a discussion on whether or not the humans in SW are actual humans.

Freakin’ nerds …

I’m just here to mock the original discussion.

Just means he knows an ability Vader does not.

I wouldn’t even say “knows” as it implies it can be learnt. Emperor simply has an extremely rare given ability/potential that Vader does not.

So in theory before Disney bought Lucasfilm Fox may have planned a x-men star wars crossover where the Emperor was proven to be a mutant? And maybe Magneto was using the force?

I seriously doubt that the humans we see in Star Wars are the same humans we have on Earth. That article says that humans are native to Coruscant, so Coruscant must have had to look essentially the same as Earth before it was industrialized into what it is now. And even if Coruscant was a total clone of Earth, it’s totally unlikely that humans would have evolved the same way we did, they would’ve had to adapt to survive entirely different predators than Earth has ever seen.

Well darn, I forgot about C3PO’s line about human-cyborg relations. I withdraw my previous comment about humans in the SW universe.

I read one theory that posited that the humans we see in Star Wars were abducted from the Roanoke Colony. It’s silly and far-fetched, but I do think it’s a possibility that the SW humans are descended from Earth humans. Perhaps they found another galaxy as they were exploring the final frontier and colonized it. Either that, or it’s an extraordinary case of convergent evolution.

My theory is that SW is in an alternate universe where space magic is real and humans just happen to exist all over the place.

No such thing.
